The couple met in the last place either of them would have expected to find their forever: a Kenny Chesney tailgate. Zac and Francesca met on June 2, 2018 and hit it off right away. Well, maybe not RIGHT away. Francesca claims that Zac was too cool to say hi the first time they were introduced while Zac claims he said hi. When the two officially introduced themselves, they talked about anything and everything. When they went their separate ways, they texted each other for hours and decided to go on a date the next day. Zac took Francesca to see Avengers: Infinity War (very appropriate because the two are HUGE superhero fans). The two texted, called and Facetimed over the next few weeks to get to know each other. Zac came to visit for the famous Ellwood City Fourth of July Festival. It was their first weekend together AND Zac met the WHOLE Nardone family. He handled it well. A few weeks later, Francesca returned the favor and made the drive from Ellwood to Wilkes Barre. On July 13, 2018 they officially became a couple, which just happens to be Francesca's pap's birthday. For a year and a half, the couple made long distance work until Zac purchased a home in Wilkes Barre in September of 2019. They adjusted to living together very well. That's when Francesca started dropping "subtle" hints about rings and wedding preferences. Francesca's favorite Disney moving growing up was Sleeping Beauty. She always pictured her living out her "once upon a dream" with her very own Prince Phillip. It was right around Halloween, one of their favorite times of year, when Zac decided the time was right. In the perfect fall setting, a pumpkin patch, Zac popped the question in front of family and friends. The ring he picked was even inspired by Sleeping Beauty. They've shared laughs, tears, joys and sorrows. They couldn't be more excited to take this next step in their lives together.
