It all started when Francesca and Jesse matched on Bumble. For those unfamiliar with how Bumble works, it's a dating app where you match with someone when you both swipe right. The kicker - the women can only message first. Francesca sent Jesse a GIF of a dog waving with its tongue out, and he replied with a laugh and a pickup line. They started talking and when Francesca asked what Jesse was up to, he told her that he was watching Scream (her favorite movie). Later on in the conversation, they talked about horror movies and he told her that Freddy vs Jason was one of his favorite horror movies. To his surprise, she was wearing a Freddy vs Jason shirt at the time. Coincidence? Fate? Whatever you call it, there was something there.

Their first date was two weeks later seeing IT in theaters, followed by Roll n Roaster. They became a couple one month later. By the time of the wedding, they will have been together almost 8 years.
