This is a touching love story of Kayla and Frankie, whose lives took different paths before fate brought them together. Though they knew each other through Kayla’s best friend and Frankie’s sister, Tiffany, their romantic journey didn’t begin until 2022. A simple Snapchat post led to a conversation, sparking a deep connection that blossomed into love through heartfelt messages and shared moments.As their relationship grew, they vacationed together, and Frankie secretly planned a surprise proposal with the help of his daughter, Emili. During a memorable trip to Tennessee, he proposed, and Kayla joyfully said yes. Now, engaged and planning a wedding for March 7, 2026, Kayla and Frankie’s story is one of enduring love, healing, and the beautiful surprises life can offer.

Jammie and I met at Jennings Middle School. Who would have thought that we would both stand next to each other on our wedding days, all these years later?! Jammie is the clumsiest yet classiest person you will ever meet (she may or may not have more metal in her body than Tony Hawk). This girl is brutally honest sometimes, but she is my biggest supporter and a part of my soul family 🫶🏼 I 100% could not do this without her.

Alex Hughes, aka "tiny Gurth," has known me the longest of all the bridal party—38 years, in fact! (At the time of this writing). Alex is a committed man who will always look after those he loves. For him to be my Best Man is one of the greatest honors I can have as his little but significantly stronger and larger brother.

Tiffany & I became best friends in Mrs. Asente’s 1st grade class. We’ve had many memories over the years, including candy cigarettes, playing sumo sumo in the basement, scary ghost stories come alive, summer swims in her pool, & making (or “burning”) popcorn in my house! LOL
Since Frankie is her older brother, I can give her the BIGGEST thank you for approving & encouraging us to be together. I now get to marry my person! 🥰 
We can finally become sisters! Just like we always wanted & dreamed about as kids!

Sam has been one of my closest friends for as long as I can remember. The gremlins may not have been real, but that will always be a night we can remember. He is a man with drive and compassion. Be careful around him, though. He can sell you the pants on your body, and you will walk away thinking you got a deal.

Sierra & I became best friends at Jennings Middle School. We had lockers next to each other in the 6th grade, & haven’t looked back since. Mark my words, folks, this girl is going to be famous!! You’ll be so lucky to say you have met her! I am so proud of her, not only is she one of the hardest working people I know, (honestly, I don’t know when she sleeps…?!). She’s an entrepreneur, actress, director, producer & so much more. “Just a kid from Akron”.
I am so very thankful to have her by my side.

Brian, aka "Big Blue," has been in my life longer than anyone, except my family. The band has many stories, which are probably best left unsaid. Between his father's fantastic lasagna and speaking things into existence, such as the bed breaking, I have stories that will last a lifetime. Brian is a remarkable man who will always put his family first.

I never imagined I would be a step-mom. What a wild ride it has been. I have learned & grown so much from this fantastic experience & opportunity. I am so happy & proud of this young lady. I have seen her grow & blossom into such a happy, bright & (“mostly”) positive person. Haha 
I know the teenage years aren’t easy, but she has accepted me and allowed me into her and her father’s lives, and for that, I will forever be grateful. I love you more! Byeeeee.

Mark has been a close friend of mine since the days of Picken Ave. We've been through many things together and have always found ourselves in each other's company. Whether it was just staying up all night playing video games or exploring outside with some night-vision glasses, we were always having fun. Even when someone threw someone else through a wall, and we tried to hide it from his dad, we always had each other's backs. Mark values his friends and family above all else. Even if he doesn't look at his phone but once a week.

Mark is the definition of a hardworking American. I consider him a second dad. His stories are as deep-rooted as the tree we may never be able to see. With his and my dad's examples, I realized that people don't just give you a life worth living; you must earn it. Mark has sadly passed away. He will forever be in our hearts and minds.
