We met the old-fashioned way—at work. Frank was coaching football, I was coaching basketball, and thanks to his conveniently located office right off the gym, we bumped into each other a lot. (Some might say it was fate. Others might say it was poor building design. Either way, it worked out.)

After months of hallway chats, sideline banter, and subtle flirting that was definitely not fooling any of the students, we finally went on our first official date to Potter’s in Naperville. Spoiler alert: it went well. Like, “we’re getting married now” well.

Fast-forward three years of laughter, adventures, takeout, and debates over whose sport is more intense (it’s basketball, obviously), Frank proposed at the Naperville Riverwalk—right where our story really began. We’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter with all of you. Just don’t ask who made the first move. We’re still arguing about that one.
