We highly encourage all guests to purchase day passes for Eugene T. Mahoney State Park PRIOR to arriving. These passess must be printed so they can be displayed on the vehicle's windshield. With a preprinted park pass, please drive around the ranger booth by driving into the far right lane upon entering the park drive. You do NOT need to stop at the ranger booth with a preprinted pass. You do NOT need to wait in line with a preprinted pass. The line can move very slowly especially with a large volume of cars arriving at once. This could cause you to miss or interrupt our scheduled events. We ask all guests to please plan accordingly leaving plenty of time to enter the park. Thank you!!

Under Park Permits, find the Daily passes (near the bottom) Simply click "add" for either Nebraska or non-Nebraska licensed vehicle. Click "proceed to cart" and type in the information as prompted. Scroll down and select the date (June 1, 2025) for the pass. Then click "pay now". You will then click "PRINT DOCUMENTS" and print the pass that shows up and place this in your windshield for the entirety of your time in the park to avoid being ticketed. Thank you for helping us keep the park entry traffic moving, serving to avoid individuals missing our ceremony due to a long line waiting to purchase their pass at the entrance.

As we are getting married within a State Park, park fees are still applicable. We are asking each of our guests who are planning to attend to prepurchase their park pass and have it printed. This allows guests to bypass the entrance line and head directly to the venue. If you are staying within the park you can also go into the lodge and purchase and print your vehicle’s park passes.

The charge is per vehicle, not per person. For vehicles with Nebraska license plates the entrance fee is $7. Vehicles with out-of-state (non-Nebraska) license plates have an entrance fee of $14.

The park system requires guests to pay for a day pass in order to access the park hosting our wedding. The fee cannot be waived. We understand the inconvenience but the park system is a cause dear to both our hearts. We appreciate your help in supporting an organization we care about on our special day.

We recommend typing in "Walter Scott Jr Observation Tower" into whichever mapping system you prefer. The observation tower and our venue (the Crete Carrier Riverview Lodge) share a parking lot. This will bring you directly to the venue with easy to follow directions. At the bottom of this page, we have also attached an park map with highlighted areas showing where the venue is for both the wedding and rehearsal.

Yes! Kids are welcome at our celebration. Games and activities for all ages to be provided.
