Museums & Monuments

Obviously there is a plethora of things to do and see while in our Nation's Capital, but we wanted to suggest some of the most popular and some of our favorite places to go while in D.C.

If you have a few hours to explore, we suggest that you start out by taking a stroll along the National Mall and checking out a few (or all!) of the fantastic monuments. Start at the Capitol and walk towards the Lincoln Monument, taking stops at all of the fun, FREE museums along the way. Check out the websites to see what's on exhibit.

We also suggest taking a trip to the National Zoo! DC has one of the most famous zoos in the world - and it's free! http://nationalzoo.si.edu/
