Q + A

What time will the wedding start?

Please arrive at 1.15pm for a 1.45pm start.

When should we book accommodation and travel?

We would recommend booking as soon as possible as Ballycastle is popular in August. There are plenty of options in the accommodation section and we have a special rate at the Marine Hotel (subject to availability). We will have a coach pick up and drop off on the day of the wedding but if you are booking your own taxis, we recommend doing this ahead of time. Guests staying off-site from the venue need to depart by 1.30am (last song/orders at 1am).

Is transport organised?

We have arranged a coach pick up for the wedding from The Salthouse Hotel (39 Dunamallaght Rd, Ballycastle BT54 6PF) at 12.30pm and from the Marine Hotel (1-3 North St, Ballycastle BT54 6BN) at 12.45pm. There will be buses returning at 1am and stopping at both The Marine Hotel and The Salthouse. Please let us know in your RSVP if you will be on either of these. If you are staying further out we would recommend pre-booking taxis as they are very limited. Local taxi numbers are in the travel section!

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes , cars can be left overnight, but they must be collected by 10am the following day.

Are kids welcome?

As much as we love your little ones, we will not be able to accommodate them on the Wedding Day (Friday) outside of our immediate family.

What should I wear?

Thursday evening welcome drinks will be a casual affair, think summer vibes but feel free to get your glam on! Friday (Wedding) - Summer dresses and Gents - get your kilts and trews at the ready! The ceremony will hopefully be outside (weather permitting) so don't forget your sunnies.

Photographs/ Unplugged Ceramony

Please feel free to take photos throughout the day and don't forget to share your snaps with us! One thing we do ask, is for an unplugged ceremony! So please leave these photos up to the professionals because they are the best of the best!
