How do we get to the Venue?

The Jewel of Ortega is located up a 4 mile unsealed road off Ortega Highway. For the wedding day, all guests will be shuttled to the venue from Sendero Marketplace (30721 Gateway Pl, Rancho Mission Viejo, CA 92694). Pickup will be in front of Chase Bank. Shuttle times have been assigned via email.

Where is the Welcome Event located?

Our welcome event will be “Happy Hour with the Bride & Groom” hosted at Frisby Cellars in Dana Point (34673 Golden Lantern, Dana Point, CA 92629). Wine, beer, soft drinks, and snacks will be served on Friday Sept. 27th 5-7pm. You may want to bring a light sweater as it will be both indoor and outdoor event.

When/how can we get to the venue for brunch on Sunday?

The gate for the private road will be open between 10:30am-11:30am to allow guests to access the road/venue. Google Maps will direct you to the bottom of the private road of the Jewel of Ortega, whereas Apple Maps shows directions all the way up the private road to the Jewel of Ortega.

Registry Issues with UK card?

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony and reception will be outdoors .

What will the weather be like?

We expect it to be a sunny day with temperatures around 70F (21C). May get cooler at night so feel free to bring a light jacket.

What should we wear?

Its an outdoor wedding and we expect good weather so anything from formal to semi formal will work. We recommend block heels or flats as well.

Can I bring a plus one, children or pets?

We are so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest. As we have a strict guest list to stay within, we can only accommodate invited guest which are listed on the invitation. Thanks for understanding.
