Our Love Story Some love stories take time to unfold, but ours began in an instant—over brunch on May 21, 2022. Brittany’s cousin, Danielle, hosted the brunch, and Fred joined after receiving an invite from his friend Anthony—who, as fate would have it, was also Brittany’s cousin. What’s funny is that Anthony had been trying to introduce Brittany to one of his friends for a while, convinced they would be a perfect match. But Brittany wasn’t interested in dating at the time. That was until she saw Fred. Their eyes met, and an unspoken connection sparked between them. Noticing Fred’s retro Milwaukee Bucks hat, Brittany broke the ice with a playful question: “Are you from Milwaukee?” Fred smiled and shared that he was actually from Madison, leading to an easy, flowing conversation that quickly deepened into something more. As the brunch went on, Brittany found herself drawn to him. Curiously, she turned to Anthony and asked, “So, what’s up with your friend, Fred?” Anthony laughed, shaking his head. “That’s exactly who I wanted to introduce you to!” From that moment, there was no turning back. After brunch, Brittany and Fred spent the rest of the evening together, talking for hours as if they had known each other forever. From the very first day, they were in a serious relationship—so much so that Brittany can’t remember a time when they weren’t. Brittany is the old soul—grounded, thoughtful, and wise beyond her years. Fred is the playful spirit—full of energy, laughter, and light. Together, they balance each other perfectly, complementing one another in ways only God could have designed. What they didn’t know at the time was that they had been praying for each other long before they met. They had both asked God to send them the right person—someone who would love them, challenge them, and walk beside them through life. And in His perfect timing, God orchestrated every detail, every connection, every moment to bring them together. Two months after that fateful brunch, they made their relationship official. What began as a chance meeting soon became a love story written by God’s hand. Today, they stand together, grateful and blessed, knowing they have found their person—at last.
