Frederickallen & Kanosha

Our anchor scriptures 1 Corinthians 13:1-13 Ephesians 4:26 Mark 10:7-9 Ephesians 5:25 How we met: Fred and Kanosha met via medical networking. Kanosha reached out to Frederickallen shortly after he graduated from medical school in 2021, and he was interested beyond what she initially intended/what she wanted him to know about her intentions. They stayed in touch throughout the fall and winter and went on their first date in March 2022. They both prayed about it and received permission from God to pursue a relationship, and their love story was ignited from there. Our Love Story: They are committed to actively learning from each other through the good, bad, ugly, and everything in between. They both don't believe in divorce and are constantly working to improve themselves to be better for one another. This takes work! Some words that they live by are "Wake up and come home; everything else is a bonus." This phrase is instrumental in how they move throughout their day-to-day activities. They cherish their unconditional love and look forward to falling in love whenever they change and marry each other daily. Proposal Story In the fall of 2022, they were doing what they do best…studying for exams. This time in the halls of the UNLV library. Fred was studying for his final medical licensing exam, and Kanosha was studying for her upcoming midterms. It was around the time of their 6 month anniversary. Fred initially had plans to ask Kanosha to marry him that weekend on the High Roller Ferris Wheel on their anniversary. However, he was obviously too excited and popped the question in their unassuming study environment. They were so enthralled with one another that they did not take a photo of the proposal. However, Kanosha, unbeknownst to Fred, booked a ride for them on the High Roller as part of her date planning day for their six-month anniversary. When near the peak of the Ferris wheel course, Fred set up the camera to record them dancing to their song, and he asked again on camera, and now there is indeed a photo! Things Kanosha Loves about Fred All things correlated to Frederickallen, Kanosha enjoys in some way or another, even the things that are not like her because he's so much like her. It's not hard for her to come to understand him. Kanosha adores the way Fred smirks and smiles and all the variations of his laugh. Kanosha is enamored by how Frederickallen carries himself as a human being and man of God throughout his life. Each of Fred's many gifts is appreciated by Kanosha, she feels that there is such a vast amount that cannot be fully expressed in just an excerpt of her love for him. The reciprocity that Frederickallen gives to Kanosha is one of the aspects that she loves most about him. Things Fred Loves about Kanosha ﻿Fred loves Kanosha's compassion for others; he first noticed how she treats her family and close friends. She is the first to give and the last to take, which is something he sees in himself. Additionally, he admires her vibrant connection with God and how she allows that relationship to lead her decisions. He also loves her smile, which brightens a room immediately, and her eyes, which are akin to the earth and keep him grounded. Lastly, he loves her sense of humor and intelligence, which is quite the combination that provides witty banter.&nbsp;

I’ve known Frederick since he showed up in my mom’s arms after a stork dropped him through our chimney on the 26th of April, 1992. Something cool about me? I have continued to make music for fun after 20 years of working towards a career. It has cost me more money than I’ve made, though that’s what you gotta do when you’re passionate about something NY - self-interest, am I right… wait, am I right?

I’m a proud Zeta—so don’t forget to capitalize that Z! For me, life is all about enjoying the little things: pickles (I can’t get enough!), hookah with good company, vibing to great music, and dancing like nobody’s watching. A fun little tidbit: the bride is my sister, which is how we met—(she was literally my first best friend)! Being named Maid of Honor is such a huge honor, and I’m beyond excited to stand by her side as she embarks on this beautiful journey. This wedding is going to be one for the books, and I can't wait to make unforgettable memories with all the amazing people here. Oh, and I’ve got a plus one, so get ready for double the fun!

That’s when I first met Kanosha she had a big O' Afro alongside my big cousin, Fred who also had a big O' Afro and in my mind, I was like what kind of products are they using? I need that ASAP.

Hey there! I’m Carena Harris, a Las Vegas native with roots in Chicago, Illinois. By day, I’m a teacher and an athletic trainer, and I absolutely love what I do. I had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful Queen Kanosha during her time at Xavier, where she was pursuing her degree in athletic training. From the moment I met her, I was struck by her incredible heart and spirit. She is honestly one of the sweetest souls I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing.

I feel so blessed to be part of her journey and to celebrate this special day with her. Kanosha, I adore you and I’m beyond happy to stand by your side today and always!

I’m Fred’s younger brother, Brandon—we go way back, all the way to diapers. One of my earliest memories is when Fred taught me the difference between a stand-up linebacker and a middle linebacker. He broke it down for me like this: the stand-up linebacker relies on agility and speed, while the middle linebacker brings raw power, delivering hits that leave a lasting impact. It was a perfect example of how one’s about finesse and the other is all about force. We also used to set up pillows from the couch as our makeshift WWF wrestling ring, jumping off the top rope (the back of the couch, of course) for some epic moves. It’s been incredible to watch him grow into the man he is today, even though, in one of our wrestling matches, I did manage to make him tap out on the Finger 4! A few things about me, I own a moving company called Boom, LLC, so if you need to move I'm your guy! I also play Arena Football and have been an athlete my entire life.

Hey, I’m Jordan—Kanosha’s sistah from another mistah and mamma. It might sound a little confusing, but if you know, you know! We met our freshman year of high school. She straight-up walked up to me and told me we were going to be friends—and of course, I didn’t believe her at the time (classic, right?). But every year, without fail, we ended up in at least one class together, and that’s when our friendship really took off and grew into family. 

We've been through it all—the good, the bad, and even the ugly—but through it all, our bond has only gotten stronger. I’m beyond grateful to have her in my life, and I can’t forget to shout out my bonus bro, who’s pretty awesome too.

My name is Chris, Fred's cousin who’s been at the necks of others for all of our lives. Fred and I have so many stories I can’t choose one. I could tell you about the good times, the bad, and the ugly. The countless times he’s been there for me and vice versa. What I will say is how proud I am and always have been of my young cousin. His competitive spirit gets him exactly what he wants, like becoming THE first doctor in the family or getting his ass whooped by big cousin Chris in hoop, Halo 2, NBA Street Vol 2, you know, the important things in life lol. Fred has always been a winner and he continues his streak by marrying Kanosha. Congrats brother.

Heyyy! I’m Jasmyn Garcia, and I’m a total Disney kid through and through! But don’t get it twisted—I also bleed Cowboys blue and Lakers purple all day long! 

I’ve known Kanosha since 2009, and she’s one of my longest and most cherished friendships. She’s truly my sister from another mister, and without a doubt, a queen in every sense of the word! We met at the Sequoia Homes basketball camp, and from that moment on, it’s been a wrap. We’ve been thick as thieves ever since!

I’m so grateful that I got to close out my senior year of sports—both track and basketball—alongside none other than Dr. Grady herself. That was one intense game and match, but you know your girl Jazz pulled through in the end! Even if I hadn’t, I still would’ve felt honored just to go head-to-head with the queen herself, Nosh.

So proud of everything she’s accomplished and couldn’t be happier to be celebrating her on her big day. Here’s to friendship, memories, and a lifetime of love!

I first met Fred during our freshman year at Whittier, when we both pledged the same society. From that moment, we hit it off and quickly became close friends, forging a bond that’s only grown stronger over the years. A fun and perhaps unexpected tidbit about me: I was actually born in a grass hut, which always reminds me of my humble beginnings and keeps me grounded in the work that I do.

Hello, hello! I’m Paris McCray, and here’s a fun fact about me: I can tear up the dance floor any time, any day, anywhere!

Kanosha and I go way back—way, way back (don’t ask me to remember the exact year, though, lol). We met freshman year through track and field, and let me tell you, our bond was forged in the intense Vegas heat, through sweat, and, of course, a whole lot of memories. From that moment on, we’ve been sisters, and that connection has only grown stronger over the years. 

I’m so grateful for this beautiful friendship we share. Love you, girl! Here’s to many more years of laughter, love, and unforgettable moments!

I'm Ryan, Fred's oldest male cousin. When we were kids, I’ll never forget the moment when Papa looked at you and said, “One day, this boy is going to be President.” You, with that signature confidence of yours, quickly replied, “No, I’m not! I’m going to be a doctor!” It’s a memory that always makes me smile, especially knowing how determined and focused you’ve always been about your goals. You’ve always had a clear sense of who you are and where you wanted to go.

As for me, here’s a fun little tidbit: I’m a wardrobe distressor. It’s one of those quirky skills I’ve picked up along the way—taking pieces of clothing and giving them that perfectly worn-in, vintage look. It’s a creative outlet that lets me add my own personal touch to the world around me!

Kanosha introduced me to Fred one evening over dinner, and let me tell you, it was such a blast! We spent the night laughing, vibing, and sharing stories about the wild, wonderful adventures life throws our way. A truly unforgettable evening! My name is Trey, Fred and I  crossed paths in the Land of Alpha—a place where driven, like-minded people come together to share ideas, challenge each other, and push boundaries. From the start, I could tell we were on the same wavelength, and we've been close ever since. I taught myself photography and editing by diving into countless YouTube tutorials. It’s been a wild ride of trial and error, but that’s how I learned to capture and create the way I do today.

Hi, I’m Shidayah, and here’s a fun fact about me—I’ve ziplined in all three countries in North America! It’s one of my all-time favorite adventures. I also had the chance to explore my passion for aviation in high school, which was an incredible experience.

As for how Kanosha and I met—our journey began on the campus of Xavier University. I’ll always remember those long study sessions during finals week. Honestly, I’m not sure how much actual studying we did, but we definitely had a blast! We shared tons of laughs, late nights, and created memories that I’ll cherish forever.

My name is Ace, one of Fred’s best friends and we also pledged the same society at Whittier. In college, I majored in math and knew most of the math professors well. One day, I was talking with one of the professors and she mentioned that she had this student who was doing well on the tests but she couldn’t figure out how. He was doing all the work on the test differently from how she taught and it was nothing like what he did in the homework. Turns out that student was your very own Dr. Grady. He did the homework on his own, but we studied for all the tests together. That’s how I helped Fredly (accidentally) baffle his calculus teacher. And pass the class.

Hi everyone! My name is Samantha—though you can call me Sam if you’d like. A fun fact about me: I’m an identical twin, though I like to think it’s pretty easy to tell us apart! 

I first met Kanosha when we were 11 years old, as new middle schoolers. Our homeroom just so happened to be in the boy’s locker room (a funny detail that always makes me smile). From there, we quickly became friends, bonding over sports and spending hours on the phone every night, helping each other with homework. Over the years, we’ve shared so many laughs and countless adventures—everything from sleepovers to movie dates. But some of my most meaningful memories with Kanosha are the hikes we’ve taken together. Those moments were always special, giving us the chance to reconnect and catch up on everything happening in our lives. Whether it was celebrating victories or sharing struggles, those hikes were where we truly recharged our friendship.

I feel so lucky to have Kanosha in my life, and I’m thrilled to be part of her special day!

What’s up, everyone? I’m Hakim, and I’m truly honored to be here celebrating with all of you on Grady’s special day. I met Fred on the road to Alpha Land, and he’s not just my fraternity brother—he’s my Line Brother and someone I’m proud to call a friend. So, this moment means a lot to me. A little bit about me: I played soccer in college, and like most collegiate athletes - I thought I was headed to the pros, but what had happened was… like 85% of us - God had other plans. Now, I manage large capital construction programs, building things that last and make a difference in our environment. When I’m not on the job site, you can find me watching Star Wars, listening to hip hop most likely seated at the domino table …. Gladly teaching others all aspects of the game... to quote the west coast street poet who known by his moniker Suga Free, “If you stay ready, you dont have to get ready!”  Lastly, I’m a devoted father of two young girls and husband to an awesome wife. I'm grateful to be here with you all and to honor to my brother Fred and Kanosha. I’m looking forward to celebrating this milestone with all of you!

I was born in Inglewood and raised in Fontana, California. After moving to Las Vegas to pursue my education, I earned my degree in Athletic Training and launched my business there, building a foundation of hard work and passion. Recently, I took a leap of faith and relocated to Florida to embrace a new chapter in life.

Traveling is a big part of who I am—I love exploring the world and connecting with like-minded, wise individuals who inspire growth and meaningful conversations. I’m also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, and cherish the values of sisterhood and service that it represents. I’m honored to celebrate this beautiful moment and stand by my sister’s side on her special day! I first met Kanosha in 2018 when I was a student athletic trainer, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. From day one, we clicked—we were always there for each other, lifting each other up with compliments and laughter. I’ll never forget when she prayed for the man of her dreams, and now look who God blessed her with—Fred! These two are such a perfect match, and I couldn’t be happier to see them together. Fred and I, both bards at heart, first made our acquaintance in the stately halls of Whittier College (the only Poet nod you’ll get). A true wrangler of chaos, I’ve spent time in a monastery, worked on a presidential campaign, attended 20+ conferences on cybersecurity, and I have a lovely husky named Ares God of War (gotta say the whole thing). As an aside, I can personally thank Dr. Grady for a strong reduction in my bacon intake!

I've known Kanosha since elementary school—we grew up in the same neighborhood, so we’ve shared a lot of good times over the years. From the very beginning, she’s always been kind, caring, and protective, especially when it came to looking out for her younger siblings. Her heart has always been as big as her smile, and I’ve been lucky to witness that firsthand.

As for me, I’m someone who loves to travel, get lost in a good book, and indulge in all things self-care—whether that’s pampering myself or just relaxing in bed with a cozy blanket. I also have a passion for writing and creating books for both adults and children, so when I get some free time, you’ll likely find me working on my next project.

Hey, I’m Ja’Kori, Kanosha’s little brother. I just want to take a moment to say how much I love my sister and how grateful I am to have her in my life. She’s not just my sister; she’s a role model and someone I can always look up to. I know that no matter what, if I ever need anything or just someone to talk to, I can always count on her. She’s truly an amazing person—always kind, loving, and caring.

As for me, I’m 16, and I’m into a few things—like playing video games, shooting hoops, and of course, I’m a huge car enthusiast (but no electric ones for me, haha). That pretty much sums up who I am, but just know I’m really proud of my sister and beyond happy to be here celebrating her special day!

You’ve been there through it all, offering guidance, support, and love, and watching you grow into the person you are today has been nothing short of inspiring. Hey hey! I’m Paige, the sister (and sister-in-law!) of the beautiful bride and groom. A little about me: I used to dance and I’m always singing—literally, all the time. I can’t help it! Some of my favorite memories with the Kanosha and Fred are from the little moments we’ve shared together. One that stands out is when they took me out to lunch on my birthday. We just talked, laughed, and ate good food—it was such a simple but perfect time, and I’ll always cherish it. I love them both so much. We also had an amazing time together at Disneyland, just being goofy, enjoying the rides, and making memories that’ll last forever.
