Hi my name is Queenstar, but my preferred name is Queen and to Frescian I am “Q”. Frescian and I met 6 months after she was born and the rest of our lives we have grown to call each other sisters from another mister (Our dads being brothers). Fresh is the ying to my yang and always inspires me to be the best version of myself. Growing up with fresh, I watched her become the beautiful and loving woman she is today. I’ve seen all her different eras from the grade 4 heelys to grade 10 dramas, from buying her first car to going to our first rave and partying until 0600 AM and now her marrying the man of her dreams. I am excited to have Chris be part of the family because he brings out the best of her and has really given Fresh different kinds of glows to life. (Take that how you please 🤪) I can’t wait to see what this next stage of life has for you guys.
Cheers to my favourite Pisces couple! More life to you both 💕
Liz East - Co-Maid of Honour
Hi! My name is Liz, and I am thrilled to be the co-maid of honor for my best friend,
Frescian. Frescian and I have been friends since we worked at Sirens together back in
2009/2010.
A little bit about me... I am a mother of a beautiful boy named Danzig. I am happily
married to my wonderful husband, Jordan, who is also the co-best man of the groom. I
am also the master of the flippy cup game, so watch out. I would consider myself the
mama bear in the friends group.
The reason Frescian and I are such best friend, because we are so transparent and
honest with each other. Of course, I am also one of the people that can get her to stop
spiraling. But we have been through so much together over the years. It’s crazy to think
that we were just some young 20 years old girls having fun, partying every weekend,
going to raves, staying out till 3 am... And here we are, she’s about to begin the next
chapter of her life. She deserves all the love there is in the world, and I am so honored
that she has asked me to stand by her side on her special day

Here’s the story of how we met, It was a dark and snowy night, the date was March 6, 1997- exactly 3 years and 4 days after (Manang) Fresh was born. I was brought into the home during a flames game. (Manang) Fresh tried to offer me a juice box but was denied by a woman called “mom”. I never left the home after I was brought there, I spent those first days lying down, drinking milk and crying with (Manang) Fresh in the same room, playing, drinking milk and watching some pictures on a big block. Years went by and the both of us grew, from sharing birthdays at Chuck-e-Cheese and McDonalds, to locking ourselves in her room screaming Simple Plan songs. Some more of our memories consist of laughing, crying, fighting, drinking (juice 🫢), getting tattooed and saying “I’m fine”. We watched each other walk stages of life and stages for graduation, and within those stages, there were moments that felt as if we got on a Rollercoaster ride without seeing the track and it whipped us into all sorts of directions (we’re still on it btw), but I’m glad to be on the ride with her. If you haven’t gotten it yet, the bride and I are sisters, and we have the best lil guy (Macho).

How do I know Frescian,
Well I can tell you it’s been a long 30 years. That’s right I met her before she was (don’t get mad fresh) LOUD. I mean I’m only 3 months older so I remember nothing. My first few memories with Fresh are funny. I remember our trick-or-treating, opening Christmas gifts, singing - wait I mean performing songs, and of course sleepovers! We spent a lot of time together when we were kids. My favourite memory of us as kids was when we held a protest out on the swing set chanting “no way we won’t go” because we wanted to sleepover. Did it work? Of course we were all such adorable kids. I don’t remember when we met because we were babies but I’ll always cherish those memories.
Congratulations to Chris & Fresh. Chris… I hope you have insurance for your hearing. Jokes lang, don’t kill me. Love you Frescian
Rai Castro - Bridesmaid
Hello! My name is Raisa, and I met fre back in kindergarten at St. Thomas More. Her mom and grandma would often take us to the bus stop together in the morning until I eventually moved away in grade 2. Thankfully, we reunited when she moved to Fr. Scollen for junior high and we’ve been best friends ever since. We’ve been through so many ups and downs over the past 20+ years, and I’ve been blessed in being able to witness her grow into an amazing, authentic, and happy soul. This past June, I was honoured to have Fre standing by my side as my bridesmaid at my wedding, and I’m very excited to get to do the same for her. I’m so happy that Fre found a life partner in Chris and can’t wait to see what life has in store for them.

I am G and I am one of Fre’s best friends! I am always down to hang (as long as I am not busy catching babies), I enjoy eating good food, and I love dancing. I met Fre in grade 2 when we were classmates at St. Thomas More. My very first email address was gianne_bff_frescian@hotmail.com, but I had to change it cuz I kept spelling her name wrong. I used to go over to her house after school and one of our favorite memories was playing on her tiny little folding couch that we pretended was a pirate ship. Even when I moved to Chestermere in grade 5, we continued to hang out, many embarrassing videos captured of us being our weirdest selves. Fre’s birthday parties were iconic, so many stories of chasing after boys, getting drunk and clubbing. Things are definitely more tame now, but still enjoy all the time spent together. I am so glad we remained in each other’s lives, and I am soooo excited I get to see her marry a really sweet and caring man. She deserves all the happiness and love!
Marshall Maraj - Best Man
Nearly 21 years ago I moved into a house across the street from the guy who would end up being my brother for the time that would follow. Chris came to my door to see if I wanted to play street hockey one day and what would follow would be decades of shenanigans, broken things (usually us), and the best of times. Between video games, almost burning down the neighborhood, and just partying in general, was someone I found who I could trust with anything and vice versa. No matter how much time passes between our interactions, we never have problems picking up where we left off. I'm often the one to give Chris that hard love and tell him when he's acting a fool, or I'm the one being a fool right beside him. We are family, always have been, always will be.
Jordan East - Co-Best Man
I first met Chris when he lived in the apartment above mine near Hudson's downtown, we both had some friends over and my friends decided it would be funny to throw cheerios at Chris' friends from the balcony. Chris invited all of us up and we all met, had a few drinks, and a stellar night. I noticed he had a drumset while I was there and asked him if he wanted to jam in the future. We jammed a few times and partied together many, many times and now, fiveish years later Chris is my son's godfather and I am his co best man for his wedding to the lovely Frescian.
James Cielen - Groomsman
Chris and I are related. He is my younger brother. Chris and I work at Cal-can plumbing together, play ball and golf in the summer and garage darts in the winter. Many more things done and enjoyed together since the day he was born.
Mike Jr. Anniuk - Groomsman
My name is Mike Anniuk. I have known Chris for about 21 years, I moved into my house in woodbine in 2003. I meet Chris shorty after moving in and we became friends. We played hours of street hockey, baseball and golf. He is one of my closest friends and he is like a brother to me.
Shaun Hallewell - Groomsman
Hi my name is Shaun Hallewell, I am a part of a family of five. I have two twins daughters that are five years old, Raelynn and Kennedy, an eight year old stepdaughter, Blake, and lastly an amazing girlfriend, Alex. I met Chris one night at our mutual friends house, Jordan and Lizz. We hung out and had a few drinks and we listened to music. While we were on the patio, we heard someone yell was "HEY!" - so we looked up and all saw Chris' head pop over. He invited us up to his place and we hung out and got to know him. As the years went on we became closer and closer, and here we are!
