As many of you know, we met during our college area. Both being students of Paul Smith’s College and then living “in town” which meant living in the amazing town of Saranac Lake!

Well, Alex lived in her first off campus apartment with Sam and Cory AKA tiny.. after just a few short days of moving into the apartment, we knew the guys (Dusty and Nilan, and soon to be AJ) who were also moving into the downstairs separate apartment! The ultimate party house and college experience was about to begin :)

Except Alex was dating a previous boyfriend still when AJ moved into the downstairs apartment… which well as he likes to explain “ I waited until she was single” and sure enough… it wasn’t long until she was. Then AJ started the courting experience of coming upstairs to Alex’s apartment with a packed Bong - a way to her heart… 💚
And then as they say, the rest is history!

The feelings and the love felt different and un like any other - fueled with amazing friendships around us, late whisky nights at The Waterhole, phish tour and our beginning steps (together) in this post college world. It was meant to be.

Moved out… but AJ didn’t go far, right to the upstairs and we moved into together just after 6? Months! Hehe (sorry parents)
and have been paying our electric bill together ever since!

We lived in Saranac Lake for a few more years. AJ working at the Lakeview Deli and Alex selling advertising for the local newspaper. We then had our own lofted cute apartment! After time, some opportunities opened up to us and we ventured down to Lake George!

We’ve Been living in the LG area together since 2014. Moving apartments almost annually, until the wonderful opportunity arose to take over Alex’s Childhood home and that’s where we’ve put some roots down since.

All the while Moglee has been there!!! Even before AJ actually, always watching and of course with intense cat judgement.
Once into our home, then Leo found his way to us during COVID lockdown! Best thing to do during that time, train a puppy!!
Then finally with the decision to start a family and arrival of our precious Phoebe Jean in June of 2022 💜💜💜
