Our Wedding

Ashlyn and Chris met during a training class at their job in October of 2020. While they didn't speak to each other, the first thing Ashlyn noticed about Chris was how good he smelled (yes, she mentioned it to one of her girlfriends). Later on, they would be placed in the same department and worked together every day. Chris made the first moves, subtle at first. Then, he started asking Ashlyn's best friend, Macey, if she was single (she was). Chris made the first "official" move by giving Ashlyn one of his work hoodies that just so happened to smell like him (she wore this every day after). Once they began talking more, exchanged information, and found out they have the same love for Disney, they went out with a group of friends for the first time outside of work. And from then on, it was off to the races! After "talking" for a few months, Chris made it official on February 1, 2021 and asked Ashlyn to be his girlfriend and also introduced her to his son, Adrian, shortly after. As someone who was never sure if she wanted children, Ashlyn fell in love with this little boy instantly and they'd begin growing such a beautiful bond. The first "meeting" was Adrian gifting Ashlyn a pair of Minnie Mouse ears (the ones in the photo above). Since she spent almost every night at Chris's apartment, she finally moved in with him and Adrian in April of 2021. August of 2021 they got their beloved dog, Pepper Potts. This sweet girl would become the center of their world (if you know, you know). From this point on, they spent every day learning, growing, crying, laughing, and most importantly loving each other. Through every high and every low, their love always prevailed and Chris finally popped the question on July 14, 2024 (which also happens to be Ashlyn's birthday) at the Cincinnati Red's game. We are so excited to celebrate this love story with all of our favorite people and we are so thankful for those who have supported us every step of the way!
