Let’s start from the beginning. Austin and Gabbi both attended middle school together and we’re in the same 7th grade classroom. They went on to high school where they had English class together and Austin asked Gabbi to move her elbow to the side so he could look at her test because he did not read for the pop quiz. She rolled her eyes and thought of him as just a funny classmate.
It wasn’t until fate brought them together at Davenport University on sports scholarships. From there it was destine that they would cross paths. With the rugby team and the cheerleading team, being a close-knit group, a strong friendship began to form. Ever since sophomore year of college (2017) there wouldn’t be a event where Austin and Gabbi weren’t in the same room. Gabbi cheered on Austin from high school football to Davenport Rugby. Austin was always somebody that Gabbi counted on when she needed help whether that was an oil change or help with accounting. Austin even cheered Gabbi on at STUNT games with a sharpied number 8 on his chest, (yes, literally sharpie).
It wasn’t until senior year of college that Gabbi and Austin decided that this friendship is the start of something special. They then started dating almost immediately- five years ago to the exact date September 21, 2019. Since then they moved in together, got their dream puppy Binny, and bought their very first home.
Marriage was an idea the couple has talked about since 2019 and they are so glad to have each and everyone of you are apart of such a special day. Thank you all for attending. They hope you enjoy their union. Cheers!
