Our story began in high school! We had known of each other since 8th grade — we shared mutual friends but had never really connected further than that. That changed the summer my dad, Roger Jefford, passed away. During the hardest time in my life, Corey reached out and offered comfort and friendship that meant more than he knew. Through his kindness and support, he helped me heal — and before long, he had my heart. Throughout high school, we were each other’s biggest supporters — cheering from the stands in our different sports, helping with homework (mostly me helping Corey 😉), and always showing up for one another. That support has only grown stronger over time. Now, we’re both in our sophomore year of college, and Corey will be joining the USMC in the summer of 2026. We’ve learned that no matter where life takes us, we’re better with God and each other— because our connection is something we couldn’t imagine being without. We are so excited for this new journey!
