It all started in Michigan—two college students on different campuses, but on a shared path they didn’t know yet. Jacob was attending the University of Michigan, while Gabby studied at Eastern Michigan University. Our worlds collided just before the world itself came to a halt. As the pandemic changed life for everyone in 2020, it unexpectedly brought us closer together. On April 2nd, we officially began dating, finding joy, peace, and laughter in one another as we navigated lockdown together. What started as Facetimes, simple everyday moments, and quarantine creativity quickly turned into something real and lasting. We began to see how deeply our values aligned—especially our shared faith in Jesus. From the very beginning, He has been at the center of our relationship, guiding our steps and drawing us closer through every season. In 2022, we packed up our lives and moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, ready for sunshine, new career opportunities, and a fresh chapter in the desert. From desert hikes to road trips and everything in between, Scottsdale has become our home—and the backdrop to the life we’re building together. Now, we’re so excited to take the next step, surrounded by the people we love most. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
