William P. Hobby Airport is the closest major airport to Galveston (45-60 minutes away). Southwest and Delta fly into Hobby. George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) is the second closest major airport (60-70 minutes). United, Delta, and American fly into IAH Airport.
