College is a time of new beginnings and endless possibilities. It's a time to meet new people, explore different interests, and grow both intellectually and personally. Little did we know that one of the most important moments of our college experience would come from meeting each other.

We still remember the day we first met like it was yesterday. It was the last week of winter classes in 2018, and we were both in the same statistics class. The class had just finished all lectures to prepare for final exams, and we remember feeling overwhelmed trying to study for finals week.

Gabby received a text message from a mutual friend asking if she can share her statistics notes with Lance. (Please note: Gabby had OUTSTANDING notes since she went to every lecture sitting front row, attended every study session, and reached out to teaching assistants for help) A few weeks later after finals, Lance mustered up the courage to introduce himself more, and that simple gesture would change the course of our college experience forever.

From that day on, we became an inseparable Fortnite squad, then eventually study buddies, helping each other navigate the complexities of college life. We spent countless hours in the Patrick F. Taylor engineering building studying together. Our late-night study sessions turned into deep conversations about life, dreams, and aspirations.

As our friendship blossomed, we quickly fell in love with each other. Our first "I love you" was exchanged on February 3rd, 2019. We cherished every moment we spent together, whether it was grabbing coffee between classes or hanging out with friends on the weekends.

Our bond grew stronger with each passing day, and before we knew it, we had become inseparable. We supported each other through the highs and lows of life, celebrating each other's victories and offering a shoulder to lean on during tough times. Our friendship had evolved into something deeper, something more meaningful than we could have ever imagined.

Looking back on our time in college, we realize that meeting each other was a fateful moment that changed our lives forever. We were taught the true meaning of friendship, love, and self-discovery. We challenged each other to step out of our comfort zones, pursue passions, and embrace the person we were meant to become.

As we stand on the brink of marriage, we are filled with gratitude for the day we crossed paths. Our love has become an integral part of our college experience, shaping each other into the person we are today. We know that our journey together is far from over, and we can't wait to see where life takes us next.

In the end, our story of meeting in college is a chapter we will always hold close to our hearts. It is a testament to the power of friendship, love, and serendipity. And for that, we are forever grateful. We CANNOT wait to share our love with all of you.
