In August of 2021, Gabi was managing NexGen Fitness in Tulsa. As she was working on establishing and growing the business, it became necessary to hire an additional personal trainer. Casey joined the team at NexGen and as we worked together we realized how much we had in common and became great friends. We spent time together working, laughing, and getting to know each other. Due to the fact that Casey was also pursuing his college degree and giving private baseball lessons, he needed to let go of the commitment of working at NexGen to free up time for school and lessons. We continued to keep in touch after he left and talked even more. In November of 2021, Gabi unfortunately had a fire at her home in Jenks which caused her to need to move. Casey volunteered to help move the things that were salvageable and help build some new furniture Gabi had purchased. We continued to spend more time together, looking at Christmas lights and going to get ice cream. On December 19, the day after her 25th birthday, Casey asked Gabi to be his girlfriend and the rest is history.

Since that time, we’ve enjoyed spending time together and with our families and friends, celebrating holidays, special events and just everyday life. On April 7, 2023, Casey and our Great Dane puppies, Link and Jax, met Gabi at Aspen Ranch and asked her to marry him. We celebrated with family and close friends at Press & Plow in Norman. It was such a joyous occasion. We are so excited how our story began with such a strong foundation of friendship, respect, and the love of similar activities. We are looking forward not only to our wedding but our continued life together. We are so thankful and blessed to have each other and all of the wonderful people in our lives.

A little life update: we are moving to the DFW area! Casey is already working there and Gabi will be moving in March. We are so excited about this move and cannot wait to celebrate with our friends and family!
