We encourage comfort, creativity and color. Think barefoot-forward wedding! Dresses, classy shirts. Glitter will be provided. Xtratufs not included but encouraged. While we hope for good weather, it's important to be prepared for fall temperatures. Please bring jackets, sweaters and rain layers. Weather currently projected to be 65°F (18° Celcius), but can cool off at night. We will have bonfires going, warm drinks, and plenty of space on the dance floor for warming up! Schedule

LODGING:The Mad River Valley is a popular destination in the fall. Because of this, lodging options are limited. We have reserved a block of rooms at Warren Lodge, Tucker Hill Lodge and Mad Bush which are all 10 minutes or less from the wedding venue. We encourage you to book early. There are other lodges, inns and Airbnbs around Waitsfield in if you looking to book a single night's stay, but it is a very popular destination in the fall, so do keep that in mind when planning your trip! SEE LODGING OPTIONS BELOW. CAMPING!If you are feeling frisky and are looking to join us and others in camping in our tent village on the Anthos property (wedding location), there will be ample space for friends and family who are excited by this option. There will be toilets and showers available and most importantly, you will be steps away from the action! WANT TO CAMP BUT DON'T HAVE THE GEAR?If camping excites you, but don't have the gear (tents, sleeping bags, etc.) or are unable to bring these items with you in your travels, please reach out to Miron or Gabi and we can set you up!

Tucker Hill Lodge

Warren Lodge is located along the Mad River and is less than 10 minutes drive from the wedding site. Please reach out to us if you need help with this! There are also condos available to accommodate groups or families. Please also consider Tucker Hill Lodge below for more options.

Warren Lodge

Canvas tents offer a cozy and convenient way to stay close to nature. Each tent includes a queen bed, solar lighting, a covered outdoor patio with camp chairs and hammocks, and access to a shared fire pit and gathering space.

Madbush Falls

All are welcome to choose to set up in our tent village and camp near the wedding site starting on Thursday, September 17! Although not required, Thursday and Friday will be a big set-up days. All hands welcome to help out! We also have some activities listed in and around Waitsfield for those looking to make a long weekend of it. Go and enjoy your time in Vermont!

FLYING: There are a few airports to fly into. Boston typically has the most options for flights. Burlington is the closest to Waitsfield and is small airport, but may be the most costly. We have listed a few airports below: Boston Logan Airport, MA - 3 hours drive to Waitsfield- Cheapest international arrival city Burlington International Airport, VT - 1 hour drive to Waitsfield- Closest, likely most expensive Additional options in the region Manchester, NH (MHT)- 2.5 hours drive to Waitsfield Albany International Airport, NY - 3 hours drive to Waitsfield Portland International Jetport- 3.5 hours drive to Waitsfield There are car rentals available from all airports above, but feel free reach out to us if you'd like to get connected to carpool!

Flying to VT

Lawson's Brewery and Taproom:The hand-hewn timber frame taproom offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere where guests can enjoy freshly brewed beer on draft, as well as fine wine, cider and non-alcoholic beverages to pair with local charcuterie, cheeses, warm pretzels and other light fare.&nbsp;Outside, there is a four-season beer garden featuring fire bowls, comfortable seating, and corn hole games.

American Flatbread is a local restaurant in Waitsfield serving all natural, wood-fired pizza, salads, desserts and drinks situated on Laureau Farm, a historic 25 -acre farmstead located on the valley floor of the Mad River.

Things to Do

So how'd you two lovebirds find each other?! We met in a chance encounter on the dance floor of Mad Myrna's in Anchorage, AK. We spotted each other across the room (basically a scene in a movie, very romantic). We exchanged numbers, both knowing we were heading in different directions, not really thinking we’d see each other again. A week or two later, the texts were flowing which then led to multiple, lengthy phone calls. After a few months of communicating long distance due to Miron traveling for races and Gabi for work, we reunited on the east coast. After a few amazing days that included a wet hike up Mt. Washington in very questionable weather, sea kayaking, lobster and sappy music off the coast of Portland, we realized that this wasn't just a one-off trip. This would be the start of something very special (sap alert!) Miron continued traveling for races and Gabi for work, both of us making time for adventures together in between such as driving from Colorado to Washington in Miron's built-out van (that is no longer with us, thank goodness), a trip around the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State, and meeting up in Alaska for birthday and new year celebrations to name a few. At the end of 2023, we decided that we wanted to move back to Alaska together so we did just that! We moved in with our good friend Harrison in early 2024 and got engaged on the top of a snowy knoll in Anchorage at the end of 2024. From there, we’ve been traveling throughout Europe, spent the summer in New England and finished out the 2025 year with some amazing adventures in the high desert!
