It all started 2010 in high school, Sophomore chemistry class where Gabe spotted Casey. They shortly became friends waving and saying hi to one another in the hallway.

In Junior year, 2011, Casey was a cheerleader walking with crutches in her cheer uniform, Gabe spotted her walking with friends and he waved at her trying to be all cute but Casey has no recollection of this moment but this is what fueled his crush.

Senior year comes around, they started to see more of one another during break. Gabe's best friend, Sergio had the same class as Casey. Once Gabe found out he started to sneak into their class. They started to talk to each other more with the occasional side hugs. Until one October day, Gabe met up with Casey to walk her to her last class, and said "Let me get your number before I don't want it no more." and they've talked ever since.

Within just a few months, they instantly became best friends. Gabe showed up to her 18th surprise birthday party - this was the first time he met her family. On December 30th, 2012, Gabe officially made Casey his girlfriend with their first kiss.

Fast forward, December 31st, 2022, the day after their 10 year anniversary, Gabe finally popped the question. Gabe secretly planned by disguising the plans as his friend's plans. When we finally showed up to the snowy mountain where he was planning on popping the big question, the mountain had been shut down due to a heavy snow storm. This didn't stop Gabe, he improvised and found a trail that led us to clear skies overlooking a beautiful snowy mountain pass. That's when he got down on one knee, where I unsuspectingly turned around to face him and he asked me marry him.
