Our story started at the beginning of January of 2020. Naturally, as millennials we met via a dating app, chatted for a few weeks and decided to meet up for a drink. Daniel talked all about his future career as a palliative care provider, explaining how his future would be centered around death and dying and Gabriel was hooked. We met up for our second date, a winter hike up Mt. Mansfield, the highest peaks in Vermont. Daniel proactively brought two pairs of mittens just in case Gabe forgot hers. That she did, and she was tickled that he was so thoughtful. About halfway up the mountain Gabe realized she had lost the mittens. Unable to find them anywhere on the trail, Daniel said it was okay but little did Daniel know he would marry this woman and be on a continuous quest at finding their belongings that she misplaces.
