It started on a rafting trip when Gabe first met Alyssa. From the second he laid eyes on her, he decided he had to shoot his shot. He was turned down swiftly, and consistently. But he would never give up! Just a couple short years later he would find out Alyssa was on dating apps, and he asked her on a formal date. She agreed! They had an amazing time, but Alyssa with the bad news AGAIN, said she just wanted to be friends. After months and months of hanging out, going places, and too many personal conversations and debates to count, they were best friends. Willing to put the idea to rest and enjoying being friends, Gabe decided he just had to shoot his shot one last time. He asked Alyssa, for the last time, if she would go on a real date with him. She agreed, one amazing date later, and the besties date happily for about a year. What seemed sudden must have felt right because Gabriel found himself on one knee at the World series, asking Alyssa to Marry him. The rest is to be written.

The resort is all-inclusive which means food and drinks are included in the cost. Each room is pre-set to include two adults in the nightly cost. When broken down, the price is roughly ($275/night per person), and a third person can be added to the room for $70/night extra. The limit is 3 adults max per room. (If you can squeeze an extra person with you, it ends up being about ($209/night when split evenly 3 ways) When booking through the property directly, you will have the ability to put in a deposit and make payments over time, however by doing this you will opt yourself out of being eligible for the discounted group rate, which requires the full payment upfront at the time of booking your stay. We recommend a minimum stay of 3 nights (4 days) from Thursday June 25 - Sunday June 28 to accommodate travel days, but feel free to select any days you'd like. Travel Itinerary

We (the Bride, Groom, Parents, And any friends and family who would like to join us) are staying at the Hard Rock Resort&amp;Casino Cancun from Wedns June 24, to Sun June 28th. On Sunday we are traveling to another city in Mexico (mostly likely Tulum or Carmen del Playa) where we can do excursions and site seeing. Ex seeing the pyramids in Xcaret, touring the ruins in Tulum, and enjoying the water parks in Carmen del Playa. As soon as we book our hotel and finalize dates we will post on the website.

What do I do if the Room I wanted isn't available on the discounted room link?

Please text Gabriel at (510)910-8001, with a screenshot of the room you want to book, from the hotel's direct website. He will contact our booking representative and they can add the rooms within 3-5 business days to the link.

Do I have to book my stay through the discount link?

No, you can book through anywhere you like. Through the hotel page directly, third party sites like expedia or trivago, or even with a booking agent. Please be sure to text Alyssa at (510)753-2314 with your confirmation and where you booked. We just this info need to coordinate with the wedding planners and staff for seating. And to be sure you are given access to all wedding events and bonuses at check in.

What if I want to stay somewhere else? Example, a different hotel, or an airbnb...

You are welcome to stay anywhere you would like in or out of the immediate area. But please be aware, there will be a fee to access the Hotel on the wedding day. We have talked with the staff and coordinators, but unfortunately the hotel requires anyone who enters the property, purchase a day pass, which includes 24 hour all-inclusive access to the hotel amenities, restaurants and bars.

Who is invited to the wedding? Can I bring friends or plus ones with me?

Everyone is welcome to join us for the wedding reception, and for any excursion for our entire duration in Mexico. However, we would like to have an intimate ceremony, and ask that only our immediately invited family and guests attend. We also ask that no one brings children under 13 (lets keep it PG-13) to the ceremony.
