On a rainy Halloween day in 2019, I (Gabe) was at my job as a car wash attendant, and in my down time I was on a dating app. So there I sat on a paint bucket in the car wash tunnel swiping through, not expecting to match with anyone, then I came across one girl, she had an infectious smile, and the most beautiful eyes that Ive ever seen from Homer Glenn, IL. I probably sat there staring at her photos for a good 5 minutes, not wanting to swipe away, fearing that I would never be able to see her again. but then I realized that she had her snap in her bio, so I quickly jumped over to snapchat and sent her a request. Within only a few minutes I received a notification that she had accepted my request and the journey began from there. There were days where we would talk for hours everyday. over the next 2 years we maintained contact sometimes very often, sometimes loosely, but we always stayed in touch, till one day I took the biggest risk of my life and I asked her if she would be my girlfriend, and luckily she had said yes on the day of December 27th 2021. and the past year has been possibly the greatest year of my life with her by my side, she is and will always be the best thing that has ever entered my life, and I cant wait for this next chapter of our life to begin.
