What to Expect

Baraat is the traditional wedding procession as the groom and his family celebrate their way to the Bride! They will be greeted by the Bride's side of the family! All are encouraged to participate and enjoy!

Baraat is the traditional wedding procession as the groom and his family celebrate their way to the Bride! They will be greeted by the Bride's side of the family! All are encouraged to participate and enjoy!
Milni is the unification of the bride and Groom's families. The Groom is wholeheartedly welcomed along with his family and loved ones by the Bride's mother and family members with some prayers and playful rituals!

Indian Wedding Ceremony:

1) The Groom will enter escorted by the Bride's parents. They will perform some prayers and rituals together.

2) The Bride will make her entrance

3) Jaimala- The Bride and Groom exchange garlands.

4) Kanyadan- This part of the ceremony symbolizes the Bride's parents giving her away to the Groom.

5) Mangalpheras- The Bride and the Groom circle the holy fire with their wedding scarves tied together 4 times, symbolizing the four human goals of Dharma in the Hindu religion.

6) Kansar- Bride and Groom have their first meal together.

7) Ashirvaad- Newlywed couple receives blessings and love as the ceremony concludes pronouncing them husband and wife!

Break Time! After the lunch and vidaai, there will be an approximate 3 hour break. You can spend them as you please! Take a nap, change your attire for the next ceremony if you desire, touch up your makeup, explore the area, whatever you choose!
