Yes. There is one lot behind the venue and plenty of street parking if needed. You are welcome to leave your car overnight and pick it up before noon the next day.
Will there be busses?
There will be busses to get from the venue back to the Lafayette Hotel after the reception, at 9pm.
There will not be any transportation provided to get to the venue before the ceremony.
What is the dress code?
Our wedding theme is old Hollywood, art deco, 1920's glam. We would love to see our guests really embrace the theme and have fun with it. If you're happier staying in this decade, please wear cocktail attire. Here's a Pinterest board to give you some inspiration: https://pin.it/3ZwhvGP6T
Is your wedding inside or outside?
Our wedding is outside. The ceremony will be held on the lawn and the reception will be inside a tent that has heaters to keep everyone warm. All walkways are paved, so you don't need to worry about walking on grass. We're hoping for nice weather, but it is December. Bring a jacket if you get cold easily.
Where are you getting married?
We're getting married at Jefferson Street Mansion in Benicia! The venue was built in 1861 and designated as the executive officer's quarters. This period mansion has been fully restored and part of the Historic Benicia Arsenal where the General Sherman and General Grant once walked.
Are kids invited?
We love all of your kids! However, we are keeping this as an adults only affair. Let's have some fun!
Do I have a plus one?
We have so many people who we've met along the way joining our celebration that we're unable to accommodate any plus ones.
Is there a room block?
Yes, we're booking hotel blocks at the Lafayette Park Hotel and Spa in Lafayette and the Best Western Plus Heritage Inn in Benicia to give our guests flexibility in where they stay. The wedding party will be staying at the Lafayette Hotel. If you are interested in staying here, please reach out to Stephen or I directly to make sure that we're able to accommodate you, as we are working directly with the hotel to release rooms incrementally.
There are also a number of other hotels in the area, including some cute B&Bs in downtown Benicia.
