In 2018, Gabriela was walking out of her Austin Peay dorm to her car. In the parking lot, she passed a well-dressed, long haired boy with cool shoes. As she passed him, she thought to herself wait that boy is something else. Inevitably, she turned around to get a second look. To her surprise, the boy in question also took it upon himself to take a second look. The two carried on a conversation about literature, music, Galen's car (of which he had just freshly painted the hubcaps gold...), and of course, Galen's shoes.

About a year later in Spring 2019, Gabriela and Galen went on their first date and have been inseparable ever since.

They both adore their families and friends and are very excited to celebrate their love with everyone!
