Little did we know, when we met at catechism classes when Tyler was 13 and I was 12, that 17 years later we would be saying I Do. We saw each other weekly for 4 years in between our catechism classes and several church retreats. We developed a friendship and even went on one date Tylers senior year and my junior year, and decided to just say friends, or so we thought. When I was looking at colleges in her Senior year, Tyler offered to give my family and I a tour of his college, the University of the Incarnate Word, UIW (Go Cards).I chose to attend UIW and became even closer with Tyler. We were best friends and hung out together most weekends. We supported each other through our various relationships during that time. We lost touch for about a year, until one faithfully day Tyler made a phone call that would change our story forever. He was making mock sales calls and needed to practice on friends and family. The initial phone call lasted for 5 minutes, but once he was off of work he immediately called back and we talked for hours. We reconnected and started to fall in love with each other and the rest is history. We can't wait to start our new life with our three furbabies, Ginger, Tucker, and Crookshanks.
