Love can truly find us in the most unexpected places, and for Trae and me, that place was Facebook. Neither of us anticipated finding our perfect match online, but life had other plans.

When we first began talking, I jokingly asked Trae if he was a serial killer, having become a bit jaded by people not being who they claimed to be. He playfully replied, “Only on days that end in y.” His humor won me over, and we decided to meet. From that moment on, things just clicked! His warm southern accent and gentlemanly manners were a sweet surprise.

Before our first Hershey Bears game together, Trae finally gathered the courage to ask me to be his girlfriend. Since then, he’s introduced me to the thrilling world of sports, especially hockey. We’ve traveled to different arenas, sharing our excitement for the game and making unforgettable memories along the way.

In return, I’ve introduced Trae to my world of animals, particularly horses and dogs. Not only has he ridden a horse, but he’s also attended several dog shows with me and even helped out at dog races—and he loves it!
