How Josh Met Gabby

Hello friends and family. This is Josh. I wanted to write this story from my perspective so you could really get a good idea of how I feel about Gabby. I apologize in advance for the long read and sappiness. When I first met Gabs I was luckily dressed in a suit and in a professional environment sporting my best behavior. I believe this definitely gave me a chance because I have a professional side (I'm very glad she saw first) and my normal/goofy side (which definitely can be overwhelming). She was so gorgeous all dressed up for her interview but remember, professional me can handle this and I'm the interviewer so I cannot be nervous. We were only able to chat briefly as I conducted her preliminary interview that typically lasts 10 to 15 minutes. She obviously blew me away with her charm and her big beautiful brown eyes. We had two campaigns running for our company at the time: one for grinders like me and one for good looking people who could persuade business owners. I think you can guess where we placed her. The rest of her short term at the company was relatively uneventful. She continued to be stunning and I could only admire her from a distance (in a professional way of course). I specifically remember a yellow sundress she wore that stopped me in my tracks. Based off the work situation, she seemed to be someone I could only fantasize being with. To be fair though, she did say that she would also check me out when I walked into their meetings in the morning (a good suit can go a long way fellas). Unfortunately, a couple months into her employment she received an offer at her previous workplace that she could not refuse. I figured that would be the last I would see of her until I woke up to a message in my Instagram DMs weeks later. Gabby was a little tipsy on her birthday the night before and thought to send me some goofy video of her and a friend drinking wine. Seems like a harmless act but, I jumped all over it! This was my opportunity to take my shot! I cannot explain how excited I was that she reached out to me. We went on to meet up for a night downtown Orlando where I really got a chance to know her and to my surprise, her two sisters, Adri and Melissa. I remember every detail of the night like it was yesterday. I was so excited and nervous to make a great first impression with her and her sisters. That entire night was amazing but, I believe we all really clicked when Ke$ha came on in the uber and we all knew the words. After that night downtown I couldn't stop thinking about her. I wanted to talk to her every day, it was a borderline obsession. She invited me to Epcot the following weekend to drink around the world with her and some friends.&nbsp;I did everything I could to sneak out of work Saturday and make it to Epcot to see her. I’m so grateful I did because I believe this is the day where we fell in love. She was dancing to Drake, laughing at my jokes, and I still was in shock of how much better looking she was than me. I didn't want that night to end. We stayed up until 4:30am just talking about everything. Gabriella Argenzio (soon to be Kanclerz) is my best friend and I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with her.

Rachel was my first friend I made in college who quickly turned into my best friend. 8 years since meeting in the dorm computer room and we are still best friends and now neighbors! From frat parties to double dates and now weddings… Freshman year us would be so proud of us right now. 🤍

Jocellyn was my Big (sister) in our sorority! She welcomed me with open arms when I was still finding my place in college/the sorority and I’m forever grateful because she introduced me to my now forever friends. She & her husband have become like family to Josh and I. 🤍

I met Hailey in college, and we clicked instantly! She was the sister I needed while being away from mine when I went to college. She’s been my “person” ever since, is so loved by everyone, and is a forever friend. 🤍

Griff is the best friend you wish you had. He is the smartest person I know and also knows how to have a good time.  Since 8th grade there’s been too many adventures to count from hockey tournaments, to college welcome weeks, to crazy spring break trips.  Griff is my go-to boyo.

Jake is my big brother and also my role model since day one.   I followed him around for my entire childhood copying his every move.  We now can spend countless hours talking Detroit Sports, drinking craft beer, and don’t try to beat us at Taboo.

Tank was my best friend at Grand Valley. We struggled through the dorm life and lived together every year until he transferred.  Kyle has always been an inspiration to me with his relentless work ethic and drive to succeed.  There's no way I would've survived college without him.

Wesche was my 2nd best friend named Kyle in college.  We lived together for my last two years at Grand Valley.  We instantly bonded over our love for hockey and the Detroit Red Wings.  Kyle was the most loyal friend I could always count on for anything.  Whether it was relationship/life advice, help on a physics question, or anything in between.

Grysen was my best friend and roommate for the last couple years of college.  From the moment I met Grysen I knew he was someone I wanted to be close with.  Grysen is the only man who can talk more than me and has the biggest heart of any human I know.  If you aren't sure which groomsman he is, look for the one who doesn't stop smiling.

Novack was my best friend on the hockey team in college and is also named Kyle.  The chemistry we had on and off the rink was something pretty special.  Novack is one of the most generous and thoughtful people I've ever met.  He's the first one to buy you a drink or come visit you when you're all alone in Florida.

At the moment, the Omni is completely booked for November 3rd &amp; prior. So, if you are looking to make reservations for before our wedding day, November 4th, the Tuscana Resort Orlando by Aston is a great option as it is just 5 minutes from the Omni Resort! We are suggesting this option for those arriving prior to the 4th as the Omni does have plenty of rooms available from November 4th - November 6th.
