Our Wedding

Little did we know that we’d find love through our shared passion for flying airplanes. It all started at flight school — passing each other in the dorm halls on our way to the flight line. It didn’t take long before we knew there was something special between us… and before we knew it, we were secretly staying in each other’s dorms (sorry, family!). Our dates went from scenic drives around the Moses Lake loop, dinners at Jay’s Teriyaki, and flights in N20559 back home in Renton, WA. From there, life took off — blending our families and friends, planning mystery trips, adopting our fur babies, and finally moving into our first home together. Gabby always told Austin, “We’ll buy our first home before we get married and before we’re 30 — just like our parents did.” It became one of our biggest goals — right alongside building our careers, growing together through challenges, and becoming an unshakable team. And here’s a fun twist of fate: long before we ever met, Gabby’s dad, Sam, played in the Stansell Family Golf Tournament — Austin’s family tournament! Gabby’s mom, Carla, was already asking, “Wait, who’s this Austin guy, and why is your dad in a photo on his dad’s Facebook page?” Little did they know, that photo would someday connect two families forever. Our story is one built on love, laughter, faith, and adventure — and we can’t wait to see where this next flight takes us. Cheers to forever — and to the Hanus’s! ✈️💍❤️
