Tale as old as time: the Jersey boy meets the New York girl in North Carolina.


Gabriella made the life changing decision the summer of 2022 to travel to North Carolina as part of a nursing travel assignment. Originally, she wanted to go Wilmington so she could be by the beach, but fate had another location in mind: Charlotte NC.


Once she settled in Charlotte, she decided she wanted to meet some new people, but knowing nobody in the area, she chose to use a dating app. Corey, being a State Trooper, had an insane schedule which made it difficult to meet people so he used the dating apps as well. Luckily, they both swiped right on each other and from that moment they never stopped talking. In September 2022, Gabby and Corey had their first date over queso and margaritas (Gabby's favorite meal of choice) Corey was a true gentleman, opening the door for her and pulling her chair out for her. They had so much fun as they chugged a pitcher of margaritas together.


From there, they became inseparable going on fun trips from Asheville, NC to Charleston, SC and loving everything in between. They were both head over heels for each other from the very beginning and everyone around them knew it. 
Corey met Reece, Gabby's handsome highly energetic golden retriever and quickly fell in love with him too. If you ask Gabby, Corey loves Reece more than her now. Gabby and Reece soon became a native to North Carolina.

November 2023, Corey made a plan with Gabby to go to the Blue Ride Mountains to pick their first Christmas tree together, unbeknownst to Gabby, that trip would be when Corey asked her to be his forever. While Corey says he remembers every single word of what was said and how he felt, Gabby completely blacked out the whole proposal only remembering to scream yes. Gabby and Corey are truly better together, and the definition of two people who are made for each other. They are eachothers better half and best friends.
