Our story began in the most unexpected (and funniest) way. On our very first date, Colton told the restaurant it was an engagement dinner. He didn’t share that information until halfway through, when we realized how extraordinary the service was. We both laughed, knowing it was only our first date and an engagement was nowhere near happening. It instantly became our little inside joke and set the tone for how natural and easy it felt to be together.We learned quickly that we were perfectly matched in the ways that matter most: communication, patience, humor, and the ability to feel safe with one another. What started as simple conversations grew into something steady, supportive, and full of joy.We’ve built our relationship on honesty, kindness, and showing up for each other every day. That foundation has become the heart of everything we share.

What’s the dress code? We’re going for elevated cocktail attire — but with a bold twist. All black. No colors, no patterns. Just sleek, chic, and timeless black to match the vibe of our canyon ceremony. Where is the ceremony taking place? Our ceremony will be held at Black Canyon in Estes Park, surrounded by dramatic cliffs and mountain views. It’s intimate, non-traditional, and intentionally simple. Is this a traditional wedding? No — we’re keeping things small, personal, and non-traditional. Think meaningful moments, beautiful scenery, and a laid-back flow. Is the ceremony outdoors? Yes! It will be fully outdoors, so please dress for mountain weather. Layers look gorgeous in all black, so feel free to stay warm. Is parking available? Yes — there is on-site parking, and it’s easy to access. We’ll share exact directions closer to the day. Is the ceremony ADA accessible? Yes. There is easy ADA access, with a short and manageable walk to the ceremony area. Are kids invited? We love your little ones, but we’re keeping this celebration intimate. This will be an adults-only event. What should I bring? Comfortable shoes for natural terrain, a warm layer, and your good vibes. We’ve got the rest covered. Can I take pictures during the ceremony? We kindly request an unplugged ceremony so everyone can be fully present. Phones and cameras are welcome during the celebration afterward. Will there be hiking or a long walk? Not a hike — just a short walk on natural ground to reach the ceremony spot.
