During the summer of 2017, Francis and Gabby were briefly introduced on Skaneateles lake during Fourth of July weekend. They followed each other on Instagram but did not start talking until the following summer.

In August of 2018, Francis and Gabby were officially re-introduced at the Lakehouse Pub. They continued to hang out for the few weeks before Francis moved to Florida for work and Gabby went back to school in NYC.

They started their relationship off with a year of long distance, which included many trips of visiting each other as often as possible. With beach days in Florida and eating out at restaurants in NYC, they bonded over their love of being together with a good cup of coffee and good food.

In 2019, after a 2 month trip to Europe, Francis and Gabby moved to Chicago together and adopted their two dogs, Mowgli and Baloo.

They decided, 2 and half years later, in the spring of 2022 to make the move back to Skaneateles to enjoy a slower paced life with a backyard for their dogs.

In June of 2023, Francis and Gabby took a trip to Africa. In between all the hunting and sightseeing, they shared a special private moment and got engaged.

And now, almost exactly 7 years after that initial introduction on the lake, we are overjoyed to be celebrating another special moment with our family and friends!
