Lex and Gab met at King's College during their undergraduate studies. They lived in the same dorm building on the same floor. They became fast friends after Gab dared Lex to challenge some random guy to a race on the bouncy house set up for the freshman fun night. Lex gallantly accepted the challenge leading to many laughs and the start of a night filled with hilarious memories.

After becoming two inseparable peas in a pod, they decided to give a relationship a go! Thank goodness they took a chance because here we are with them both recently celebrating their 10+ year anniversary!

From best friends to college roommates. They continued to grow together and grow individually while sorting out what the heck to do with the rest of their lives.

Following their graduation from King's College Lex decided to follow Gab in love and support while Gab undertook the process of obtaining her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Pennsylvania State University.

Right before leaving for this move to the State College area, Lex proposed while moving boxes from the storage unit, packing up the moving truck to head to their new destination. What a shock, but great news is that Gab said Yes! Gab then proposed shortly after to Lex at Penn State's Arboretum in a picnic basket. Surprise for Lex! She also said Yes.

They made a plan to try and plan their wedding once Gab was done with school so they could carve out time for creating something magical together.

Then the Pandemic hit. Gab was finishing up her degree. Lex was working at the local airport. Everything was changing and shutting down. This meant no graduation ceremony, moving out of college apartments due to the campus shutting down, hiring freezes, job uncertainty, and more. Lions, and Tigers & Bears, oh my! What a truly scary and overwhelming time we all survived through.

With plans swiftly dashed, Gab and Lex came together to figure out their next move in life. It just so happened to end up being an actual move! Since Lex followed Gab in love and supported her work for her Master's program, Gab offered for Lex to be able to follow her professional dream and choose our next location. It was Lex's time to shine and make the moves she needed to professionally (and shine she did)! Many options were considered. Some near. Some far. They took a chance and went with Vermont!

They made a pact to each other, due to the nearly endless engagement, that if they got close to their 10th anniversary of being together and they still had not gotten married, they would dive in together to do it regardless of whatever else life tried to through their way. They came to realize that even when their world stops turning, the world around them does not and that they still deserve to celebrate something beautiful with their family and friends.

After being here in Vermont for a few years, Gab & Lex have fallen in love with the state and enjoyed every opportunity to explore it. They decided to even put down more permanent roots and buy their first home together! Following that milestone came the realization that they could finally have that woodsy backyard wedding ceremony of their dreams. Celebrating with all of you!
