When we first met it was through mutual friends. At that time neither of us were expecting to find our person. However, as soon as we met we hit it off. Finding out that we were both students at Iowa State University, we began spending more time together in Ames and on campus. After just a few months, we both realized we were in this for the long haul.

During the Okoboji Winter Games in our second year of being together Colby asked my mom, dad, and brothers for my hand in marriage. They all gave an ecstatic yes.

On my birthday (May 20,2024) we hosted a joint birthday party for the two of us. With both of our families and friends there, Colby popped the question in one of our favorite spots.

We are beyond excited to get to celebrate this day with so many people that we love. Thank you to everyone who has made this possible and supported us along this journey.
