Where can I go to eat if I was not extended the invite to the rehearsal dinner?
You'll find plenty of dining options near the hotel to choose from.
We invite you to return to the farmhouse and enjoy s'mores with us by the bonfire!
HAVE YOU BOOKED HOTEL ROOM BLOCKS FOR GUESTS?
Absolutely! We've arranged for room blocks at Quality Inn Oneonta, located about 30 minutes from the venue. For more details on the hotels and to get the group rate code, please visit the "Travel" page.
HOW WILL TRANSPORTATION WORK?
Transportation's all sorted for the wedding day! We'll share the transport schedule closer to the date, but here’s what we’ve got planned:
- A ride from the hotel to Gilbertsville Farmhouse for the ceremony at a set time.
- A ride back from Gilbertsville Farmhouse once the reception wraps up.
- A ride after the after-party ends at Gilbertsville Farmhouse.
Just a heads up, Uber and Lyft aren’t options around here. So, if you're not hopping on the charter bus we're arranging, you'll need to arrange your own transportation to the venue.
IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE AT THE VENUE?
Yes, there is plenty of parking available at the venue!
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR THE CEREMONY?
The main ceremony begins at 4:30 pm however, the Milking Parlor doors will open at 3:30 pm for a special welcome hour. We encourage you to attend the welcome hour - it's a great opportunity to mingle and enjoy a haywagon ride up to the ceremony site.
CAN I TAKE PICTURES WITH MY PHONE DURING THE CEREMONY?
We kindly ask that you refrain from using your phones during the ceremony.
WILL THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION BE HELD INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?
If the weather's on our side, we'll be holding the ceremony at the beautiful HillTop Cathedral, so we suggest leaving the stiletto heels at home so you don't sink into the grass! If it does rain, the ceremony will be held in the Milking Parlor. The reception will be inside Chandelier Barn, but the patio doors will be open for guests to relax, mingle, and enjoy a cozy bonfire.
What type of food and beverages will be offered?
Drinks are Open Bar. There will be a charcuterie board and passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by family-style dinner and desserts. You'll have the opportunity to taste everything on the menu!

If i'm staying the full weekend, what should I pack?
If you're staying the full weekend, here are some suggestions on what to pack:
- WELCOME DAY: Think comfy and casual. Bring outfits that are perfect for goat yoga, hanging out by the beach, taking a quick swim in the lake (if the weather's warm), enjoying a paddle boat ride, joining in on beach volleyball or other outdoor games, relaxing in a hammock, and hanging out at the barn with the animals.

-WEDDING DAY: Cocktail attire for the big day's ceremony and reception.
-FAREWELL BRUNCH: Keep it casual and comfy.
-Night Time- For those late-night bonfires, pack some warm lounge clothes and blanket to keep you snug by the fire.
- Staying at Glamping Village?: Pack a toiletry bag for easy trips to and from the bathhouse.
*Please note: If you are lodging on site- you do not need to pack a towel unless you prefer using your own.
