May 2, 2020 - Love Is Not Postponed - Wedding Updates and Announcement
Dear Family and Friends,
It is with great joy that we announce our new wedding weekend celebration as well as an important life milestone! One week ago on Saturday, April 25th, in the company of our immediate family, the two of us exchanged vows and were married! With all the uncertainty in the world, the one thing we were certain of was knowing we were meant to start our life together. When you love someone enough, you just cannot wait a moment longer to share that love and commit yourselves to one another. You can view a short video of our April 25th wedding here.
This now only gives us even more reason to celebrate next year! We are excited to share that we will still be celebrating our love during our NEW wedding weekend on Saturday, July 10 and Sunday, July 11, 2021 at Carmel Mountain Ranch Estate in San Diego, California! A formal re-save the date and invitations will be sent in the mail. If this pandemic has taught us anything, it is that life is too precious not to celebrate the joys in life, and we cannot wait to participate in all of our originally planned wedding festivities with you all next summer. While the COVID-19 pandemic has affected and altered our lives in many ways, it is incapable of changing the love we have for each other. We are beyond grateful for the outpouring of love and support after announcing our postponement and we hope this surprising news brings you joy. April 27, 2020 - Love is Patient - Wedding Postponement Announcement
Dear Family and Friends,
We hope you all are healthy and safe. After careful consideration, we regret to inform you that we have decided to postpone our wedding due to COVID-19. While we were so excited to celebrate our wedding with you on June 27 & 28, 2020, the health and safety of our family and friends are of the utmost importance and we do not feel that we can responsibly have a wedding this year. We would not want anyone to feel uncomfortable by attending our wedding, and by postponing and allowing time for the world to heal we hope we will be able to have a wedding next year full of lots of hugs, dancing, and joy.
We are looking into alternatives for the spring or summer of 2021 and we will be in touch soon through email when we have finalized the details. We will also continue to update our wedding website as more information becomes available. We sincerely appreciate your love and understanding. Please know this decision was not made lightly, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused or expenses already incurred.
