between Ceremony and Reception
Our ceremony ends around 4 pm and cocktail hour begins at the Crystal Tea Room at 6 pm. Because our wedding is in the heart of Center City, there are endless options to occupy your time between events. If you need ideas, here are some of our favorites!
Victory Brewing Company Philadelphia
Beer and snacks, in addition to cocktails, wine, etc. Check out their roof deck (and try the Sour Monkey)!
McGillin's Olde Ale House
A Philly classic since 1860, the oldest continuously operating tavern in Philadelphia and one of the oldest taverns in the country. Also, practically next door to our reception venue!
Assembly Rooftop Lounge
Rooftop bar and lounge at the Logan Hotel, located directly across from the Basilica.
Sister Cities Café
Coffee, drinks, and snacks in the beautiful Logan Square, right outside of the Basilica.
Con Murphy's Irish Pub

Reading Terminal Market
Famous indoor farmer's market with some of the best food in Philly. Some of our favorites are DiNic's (roast pork sandwiches), Olympia Gyro, Hershel's East Side Deli (pastrami on rye, always), Beiler's Donuts, Old City Coffee, Beck's Cajun, and Miller's Twist Pretzels.
Rittenhouse Square
Philly's "Central Park," surrounded by shops and restaurants.
Philadelphia Museum of Art
Check out the museum, or just see the Rocky Steps (and get a picture with the Rocky statue).
Independence National Historical Park
The birthplace of America! Check out Independence Hall (where both the Declaration of Independence and Constitution were signed) and the Liberty Bell.
Admission to both is free, but you will need timed tickets to Independence Hall in advance. You can reserve with the link below:
