Our ceremony ends around 4 pm and cocktail hour begins at the Crystal Tea Room at 6 pm. Because our wedding is in the heart of Center City, there are endless options to occupy your time between events. If you need ideas, here are some of our favorites!
Beer and snacks, in addition to cocktails, wine, etc. Check out their roof deck (and try the Sour Monkey)!
A Philly classic since 1860, the oldest continuously operating tavern in Philadelphia and one of the oldest taverns in the country. Also, practically next door to our reception venue!
Rooftop bar and lounge at the Logan Hotel, located directly across from the Basilica.
Coffee, drinks, and snacks in the beautiful Logan Square, right outside of the Basilica.
Lively Irish pub located right on the Parkway.
Philly is an amazing city with so much to do. If you have some extra time to explore (and try our amazing restaurants), here are our top recommendations!
Famous indoor farmer's market with some of the best food in Philly. Some of our favorites are DiNic's (roast pork sandwiches), Olympia Gyro, Hershel's East Side Deli (pastrami on rye, always), Beiler's Donuts, Old City Coffee, Beck's Cajun, and Miller's Twist Pretzels.
Philly's "Central Park," surrounded by shops and restaurants.
Check out the museum, or just see the Rocky Steps (and get a picture with the Rocky statue).
The birthplace of America! Check out Independence Hall (where both the Declaration of Independence and Constitution were signed) and the Liberty Bell.
Admission to both is free, but you will need timed tickets to Independence Hall in advance. You can reserve with the link below:
Iconic French bistro with great brunch and people-watching on Rittenhouse Square.
Try the iced strawberry oat milk latte (Gabri's fave).
Our favorite bagels (try the sea salt rosemary).
Bakery and cafe with great breakfast and brunch (can sit or grab and go) by Chef Mike Solomonov, the owner of famous Zahav!
Our favorite restaurant! Make sure to BYOB (Bloomsday is a good place to buy wine nearby). Cash or venmo only.
The best cheesesteaks in Center City (skip Pat's and Geno's).
Mexican food and margs, with a hidden speakeasy (ask to get on the list for the Ranstead Room).
Amazing Chinese food (get the soup dumplings) in the heart of Chinatown. Cash only.
Vibey sushi bar with great cocktails.
