We met in the most unexpected place — a truck show. What started as a casual encounter quickly turned into something much more. From that day on, our paths kept crossing, and before we knew it, we were building a life together filled with love, laughter, and a shared sense of adventure. Since then, we've crossed oceans, moved countries, and now call New Zealand home with our two beautiful daughters who bring endless joy and keep us on our toes. Life is busy, beautiful, and full — and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Travel has always been a big part of our journey, and it was on one of those unforgettable adventures — in stunning Fiji — that we got engaged. Now, we're so excited to celebrate this next chapter with the people who mean the world to us. Thank you for being part of our story — we can’t wait to share this special day with you.

HELPFUL STUFF

Q: When and where is the wedding?A: Our wedding will take place on Satuday, 13 February 2027 at the Tautuku Fishing Club, nestled along the stunning Otago coastline. Both the ceremony and reception will be held on site, so you can enjoy the whole day in one beautiful location. Q: What time does the ceremony start?A: The ceremony will begin at in the late afternoon. We recommend arriving a little early to find your seat and enjoy the setting! Q: What should I wear?A: The dress code is semi-formal. Think elegant summer attire suitable for an outdoor coastal setting — light layers are recommended in case of a sea breeze. For women, this might mean cocktail dresses, long dresses, or elegant skirts and tops, paired with dressy shoes and light accessories. For men, we recommend suits or dress trousers with a shirt and jacket, with an optional tie or bow tie. Please, no casual wear like jeans, shorts, or sneakers — we’d love everyone to feel dressed up for the occasion! Q: How do I get there?A: The Tautuku Fishing Club is about a 15 drive from Dunedin. There is plenty of parking at the venue. We will be having designated party buses for transportation. More detailed information will be provided closer to the date. Q: Are children invited?A: While we love your little ones, this will be an adult-only celebration. We hope you can still join us and celebrate! Q: Can I bring a guest?A: Please RSVP for the guests included in your invitation. If you have questions about adding someone, reach out to us directly. Q: Will there be phone reception or Wi-Fi at the venue?A: The Tautuku Fishing Club is in a beautiful, remote coastal location, so mobile phone reception is limited or may not be available. However, Wi-Fi is available at the venue, so you can still stay connected if needed. We encourage guests to relax, enjoy the scenery, and fully immerse themselves in the day! Q: Will there be food and drinks?A: Yes! Cocktail hour, dinner, drinks, and a celebratory cake will be provided during the reception. Let us know on your RSVP if you have any dietary requirements. Q: Is there a wedding registry?A: Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift! For those who wish to contribute, we have a Wishing Well to help us build our next chapter together. Details are on the website. Q: Can I take photos during the ceremony?A: We want you to enjoy the moment! While photos are welcome, we ask that you allow our photographer to capture the official shots during the ceremony. FLIGHTS

To our friends coming to us from America and Canada: We recommend flying Air New Zealand where you will travel to Dunedin via Auckland. When stopping in Auckland, allow at least 3 hours for a layover as you will need to go through customs and re-check in for your domestic flight in a different terminal. You can walk from the International Terminal to the Domestic Terminal via walkway (10 min walk) or there is a shuttle available.

ARRIVING IN NEW ZEALAND

Most international guests will need a <a href="https://www.immigration.govt.nz/visas/new-zealand-electronic-travel-authority-nzeta/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA)</a> before entering the country. It’s quick and easy to apply online and is valid for multiple visits over two years. Some travelers may also need to pay a small International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL) at the same time. We recommend checking the official New Zealand Immigration website to see if you need an NZeTA or a visa and applying well in advance of your trip.

The hotel’s cafe-style restaurant ‘The Press Club’ is open daily and offers regional cuisine. Free unlimited WiFi is provided. Scenic Hotel Dunedin City is a 4.5-star hotel which offers modern accommodations, many with harbor views. The hotel is located only 2 blocks from the Octagon, the city's famous landmark. Guests enjoy free WiFi. There is a great selection of contemporary guest rooms, all of which have a modern bathroom. Some of the rooms overlook the harbor, some offer views over the city. The hotel's restaurant is open daily for breakfast and has an a la carte menu. There are several restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The Scenic Hotel Dunedin City is a short walk from the Octagon, Fortune Theater and the city's central business district.

Ebb-Dunedin in Dunedin provides adults only accommodations with a garden and a terrace. Each room at the 5-star hotel has garden views and free WiFi. Guests can enjoy city views.
