March 22, 2018We met (technically) over the phone a few months prior, and were talking every day. This was the only picture we took the day we met in person for Starbucks with a few friends, sorry grandmas!

June 4, 2018We went to the beach with a group of friends, and this was a pivotal moment in their friendship. Gaby was definitely feeling all the vibes, and would go on to tell Kevin she liked him a month later. He didn't return the favor, but they stayed close friends.

August 23, 2018Gaby moved onto campus at CSUF with her teammates. Kevin came to visit and hang out with Gaby and her friends most days of the week, and finally told Gaby he had feelings for her too. Friends to lovers IRL &lt;3

November 21, 2018This picture was taken a few days after we said "I love you." Because I know you are dying to know, he said it first, and she said it back. In the pouring rain. It was cold, and wet, but oh so cinematic.

December 31, 2018-January 1, 2019New Year's Eve of 2018 was our first holiday actually spent together. Gaby got to meet and get to know all of Kevin's friends, and we all partied the night away.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

December 25,20192019 was a year full of school and sports for Kevin and Gaby, so nothing huge happened. However, it was the first Christmas they spent with each other and the families!

SPENDING CHRISTMAS WITH THE FAM

April 2, 2020At the peak of COVID, we didn't see each other and were both home with our families. We FaceTimed for hours on end each day until things died down and we were able to reunite. It was the worst!

July 12, 2020Once summer came, we decided it was time to live our lives. We went on a trip to Lake Havasu, AZ with Kevin's family for his sister's birthday, and a new tradition was born. Now, the family has a boat and a house in Havasu, and it is a regular location for us all year.

FIRST ANNUAL HAVASU TRIP

June 9, 2021Fast forward to a year later, Kevin finally has a drinking buddy! This was our first trip as a couple (with some friends of course), where we got to celebrate and have a blast for the weekend.

GABY TURNS 21

November 20, 2021As Gaby's volleyball career came to an end, Kevin was right by her side to escort her onto the court, with her mom. She couldn't have gotten through those long 4 years without him, her biggest supporter.

SENIOR NIGHT

February 22, 2022Gaby got to travel with Kevin's family to Oakland to watch him play baseball. We had so much fun and way too many shenanigans to count! Gaby was thankful she was able to go, as it was Kevin's last season of a 20 year career.

BASEBALL IN OAKLAND

April 29, 2022Kevin's senior day was an emotional one, as it was the culmination of a lifelong passion of his. Gaby and Kevin's family supported him through 18 long innings of baseball, and he left it all on the field. With sports being such a huge part of our lives, it was weird to think that was the last game we would go to for each other.

April 30, 2022We had an absolute blast at Stagecoach with a few of Gaby's friends. We got to see some of our favorite artists, like Luke Combs and Carrie Underwood. The highlight of the festival was when Carrie brought out Axel Rose, and they sang a few of Guns N Roses hits...EPIC!

May 6, 2022Kevin graduated with his Masters of Science in Coaching and Exercise Science from CUI, and Gaby graduated with her Bachelors in Science in Kinesiology and Strength and Conditioning from CSUF. Can you say, "Power Couple?"

April 18, 2023After grad school, Kevin went to EMT school and started working at Huntington Beach Fire Department as an EMT. Shifts away from home were tough for Kevin and Gaby, but thank God for FaceTime! He has since left to pursue Paramedic school, where he recently earned his California Paramedic license.

We celebrated our 5 year anniversary during a weekend in San Diego. On our way down, we visited the Air and Space Museum, where we rode a jet simulator and were seriously deprived of oxygen from laughing so hard. We spent the night running around Gaslamp and Kevin beat the high score on a pop-a-shot game in one of the bars.

May 4, 2024Gaby graduated with her Masters of Science in Coaching and Exercise Science from CUI, just like Kevin. She joined Kevin in the workforce a month later as a strength and conditioning coach at her alma mater, Santa Margarita.

September 21, 2024On our 6 year anniversary, Kevin popped the question (much to Gaby's disbelief). She tried to ruin it at every point of Kevin's master plan (she had zero idea)! We spent some time with our families before heading to Taco Stand for dinner, with American Dad as our table side entertainment.

February 2, 2025We had a blast at our engagement shoot with our amazing friend, Andrew. Not only did we get some amazing shots, we got to spend time with our friend and really get into the wedding planning spirit! Next up, the wedding day...we can't wait!

Blake and I became very close playing baseball (and guitar hero) together growing up. Blake has always been there for me to not only support me, but to push me to be better whether it was on the field, in the weight room, or even playing video games. Blake is the kind of person that puts 100% into all aspects of his life, including our friendship. Although Blake is often traveling to succeed in his career on the field, it feels like he is always right there when I need him no matter where he is. I can always count on Blake to lighten the day with his humor and attack life with an attitude that makes him not only a great athlete, but a great person, and a phenomenal friend. Seeing Blake achieve the dream that we all had as kids has been the most surreal experience, but not surprising to anyone who witnessed the work he put in to get there.


Blake

Zak is another friend that I had the pleasure of meeting on the baseball field, but
our friendship quickly became much more than bonding over a sport. Zak and I
spent countless hours together everyday not particularly doing much but it was a
blast no matter where we were. Zak’s ability to keep me level headed is
something that I appreciate every single day. Zak has so much to offer to all of
his friends. He brings intelligence, levity, humor, and reason to every situation. I
am able to vent to Zak about anything and I know that on the other end he is
somehow going to put me at ease, which is a tall task for anybody. What
impresses me the most about Zak is that he is able to be such an incredible
friend from 2,500 miles away while supporting Mariah’s dreams in Hawaii, all
while excelling at his own goals.

Sydney is my best friend since sophomore year of high school and the ultimate partner-in-chaos. From goofy adventures to deep heart-to-hearts, Sydney has been there through it all — including introducing me to Kevin (so basically, this wedding is her fault). Sydney is one of the few people who can make me see reason and pull me out of a spiral, and I'm forever grateful for that. She is someone that I can always count on to get me out of my shell, and we have countless memories that genuinely feel like a fever dream. From driving around in Bryce (her high school car), to 12 hour days at the beach, we've always found ways to make the most mundane and quiet days fun. Kevin knows that whenever Sydney’s around, I transform into my gremlin alter ego, and honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Sydney

Nicole was my college roommate and teammate, and is one of my soul sisters. Nicole has been there through late-night talks, post-practice ice cream runs, and countless Ariana Grande album reactions. She’s the kind of friend who always knows when I need a pick-me-up — whether it’s a sweet treat or a spontaneous dance party, and never fails to bring out the Bruno voice when reminded. She is one of my biggest supporters, and has seen Kevin and I's relationship blossom (ever since I slammed the door in his face after our first kiss). Nicole was also the first of my besties to make me an auntie (to the adorable corgi, Berkeley), and her warmth, loyalty, and laughter have made her a forever part of my heart.

Tanner AKA Bru, is one of the newer additions to the friend group, but it feels like he has been around since day 1. Tanner’s incredible work ethic and dedication is something that makes him such a good person to have around. I can always count on Bru for a good time. I will always appreciate our Havasu trips that allow us to let loose every now and then and know we are going to end up in Havasu old and wrinkly. I have never had to question Bru’s loyalty which is what makes him such a great friend to me and it seems like we are always somehow on the same page. Tanner’s strong willed personality will allow him to do anything that he wants in life.

I met Cody just a couple of years ago when he and I were lucky enough to be partners at HBFD. Being in a career that is filled with stress and the unknown, Cody made everyday at work fun. Cody had the tough task of keeping me level headed at work. No matter how tough the days or nights were at the station, I could always count on Cody to talk me off the ledge. Watching Cody pursue and succeed in his career as a firefighter and soon to be paramedic has been so special. Cody takes whatever life throws at him on the chin and continues to move forward. Being able to navigate a difficult career path with a close friend has made me forever grateful.


Cody

Mary is one of Kevin’s childhood friends who quickly became one of my closest friends. Our friendship is full of laughter, music, and the kind of inside jokes that last a lifetime — from fake mustaches and chicken fights to gummy Krabby Patties, stupid memes, and spontaneous jam sessions. But beneath all the silliness is someone with a huge heart. Mary is endlessly supportive, always ready to lend a hand or a hug, and brings a sense of warmth and joy to every moment. She’s the kind of friend who makes you feel like family, and we are grateful for every memory with her. 

Mary

Makena is the kind of friend who lights up every room she walks into — bubbly, bold, and always ready to make you laugh until your stomach hurts. A college teammate of mine and one of our closest friends, Makena has been a constant source of joy and support. Whether we were showing off our muscles in Big’s bathroom mirror or hyping each other up through life’s ups and downs, we have built a friendship full of laughter, loyalty, and love. She’s the life of the party, but also the kind of friend who shows up when it matters most.

Nick is an incredible human that I am very excited to soon be able to call my brother. When I first met Nick, the first thing I noticed was his love for his family. Nick has always been such an incredible support system for Gaby. As I got to know Nick better, I realized that he was somebody that I wanted to be friends with even if I wasn’t marrying his sister. Nick was very quick to welcome me to their family but also ensured that I was the best version of myself for his sister. Nick is a hilarious, and hard working person. Witnessing what he was able to accomplish on the football field was special to witness. I am excited to see what Nick accomplishes in life after college. He will be able to achieve any goal he sets for himself due to his dedication and relentless personality. I'm grateful not only for having a new sibling, but also knowing that Nick will always be Gaby’s biggest fan.

Nick

Matt has been around in my life as long as I can remember. I can’t think of many times where Matt and I have been together, and we weren’t laughing hysterically about something (no matter how dumb it may be). Matt’s ability to bring energy to the friend group is unparalleled. Matt lives his life with a positive and humorous outlook but is also able to give great advice from an unbiased perspective. Matt is able to lift up those around him while also pursuing and achieving his own personal goals which makes him such a unique individual. Almost all of my favorite memories with my friends involve Matt. I can’t wait to have many more barbecues, and days on the golf course for all the years to come. Having Matt around reinforces my faith as well as my appreciation of our friendship. 


Matt

Maya was my very first friend at CSUF (we met at orientation), and from their freshman dance class to late-night talks, she’s been a cherished part of my life ever since. Maya is one of the funniest people I know — quick-witted, effortlessly cool, and always ready to bust a move. Seriously, you have to listen closely because she's sneaky with the jokes. But beyond the humor is a heart of gold: Maya is thoughtful, fiercely loyal, and has a way of making everyone around her feel seen and loved. This girl DROVE 6 HOURS AFTER WORK to be with me for my birthday,  what the heck! Our friendship has been filled with laughter, the most random chat discussions, and dance moves that are definitely making an appearance at the wedding.

Maya

Krisitina is Kevin’s older sister and the big sissy I never had. From karaoke nights to Gilmore Girls marathons and Just Dance battles, Kristina has been a constant source of love and laughter for me. Our bond was formed at Tom Cat's karaoke bar for their dad's birthday and has only grown stronger through the years. She often calls me a puppy, due to my giant bursts of energy immediately followed by a nap, but I wouldn't be that way without her hilarious antics. Many impressions and inside jokes later (GO SOX!), we now speak in a language no one else understands. I know she is always rooting for us, and I'm glad to know she'll always be there. I love you Teeny!!

Kristina

Zack, AKA Bowman, is another friend where our relationship began on the baseball field. Watching Bowman be so dedicated to his craft from such a young age inspired me to push myself further than I ever expected. Bowman is the most outgoing individual I have ever met in my life. At the drop of a hat, Bowman would be willing to go train, or just hang out. Bowman’s presence always lightens the mood. Spending time with Bowman from a young age has taught me to not take life too seriously. It is simply a blessing to have Bowman be such a big part of my life and I will always be grateful for his friendship.


Zack

Andrew and I were inseparable at a very young age. Andrew appears in a majority of my core memories growing up. Being able to grow up next to Andrew has been an absolute privilege. What I appreciate about Andrew is that he is unapologetically himself at all times. Andrew is a jack of all trades when it comes to life. Watching him pursue his goals in so many different aspects of life is incredible to watch. Andrew will always be the first to lift up others when they need it. While Andrew is known for being such an incredible human, he is also an amazing athlete. Andrew is somebody that can pick up any sport and automatically be good at it. It has been an honor to watch Andrew grow up and dominate every part of his life.

Emersyn (Emmy/Ding/Squeaks/etc.) is my baby sister and a radiant light in my life. Emersyn is not only an incredible dancer, but also one of the kindest, most thoughtful people you’ll ever meet. She’s the little sister who brings joy to every room and makes everyone feel special. I cherish our sister nights — matching pajamas, puzzles, and takeout — where we laugh until our cheeks hurt and talk about everything under the sun. Whether we’re pulling pranks or sharing secrets, Emersyn’s love and gentle spirit are a constant reminder of the beauty of sisterhood, and I'm so grateful to have her in my life, and next to me on this amazing day. I'm so proud of the young woman you are becoming, and I can't wait to see all the amazing things you do!

Kate is one of Kevin’s high school friends who quickly became one of Gaby’s closest friends. Kate was one of the first to spot the “more than friends” vibe between us and has been one of the biggest supporters of our relationship ever since. She is one of the most easy-going and kind people I've ever met, and chatting with her is one of my favorite pastimes. Whether it’s hitting dingers in home run derby on "The Show" or playing pool, Kate’s always game for a good time, and shares our love of good, healthy competition. Kate is an amazing human, and we are so lucky to have her in our lives.

Brandon is one of my baby brothers — not my literal twin, but our resemblance is so uncanny that it's undeniable we're related. Despite being ten years apart, Brandon and I share a deep bond built on laughter, love, and a whole lot of head scratches, when he wasn't terrorizing Tristan with flying kicks :). Brandon is a talented basketball player, and when he’s not sinking threes or begging me to show of my horrendous jump shot, he’s on Spotify listening to underground rap — whatever that is? I couldn’t be prouder of the man he’s becoming and can't wait to celebrate with him by my side!

Tristan is my youngest baby brother. He’s the kind of person who makes everyone around him laugh, always has a quick comeback, and somehow manages to be both the funniest and most thoughtful person in the room. When he was little, he went through a magician phase and insisted we all call him “The Great Tristoni.” And I'll never forget how often he’d ask “Sissy, can you play Call Me on the Cellphone?” just to dance around to Hotline Bling with a huge smile on his face. I’m so proud of the young man he’s becoming, and I can't wait to see all the amazing things he'll do!
