Our love story kicked off just like any modern one does, but ours? Well, it started with an accidental like online. We’re thinking fate was pulling some strings! Our early days were all about sharing chicken bacon ranch pizza and binge watching Criminal Minds—our favorite show. Little did we know, these casual hangouts were turning into everything we ever dreamed of.

Back then, we were exactly what the other needed, even if we didn't see it yet. Gabrielle loved Joey’s light-hearted nature and jokes, making her world a little brighter. And Joey? He needed Gabrielle’s orderliness and a touch of structure to help him reach his full potential. But it wasn't all seriousness—Gabrielle got Joey to open up to new foods. She made him list all the foods he claimed to hate, and turns out, he was more into trying things than he thought. Those first few months were all about Joey crossing foods off his nope list. There's still a couple left, but he's way more into trying all kinds of foods now!

Over the last year, we have seen a lot of changes in our lives and have faced them together which has only made us stronger. One of the toughest challenges we faced was the passing of Joey’s grandfather, Pop, who Joey adored and looked up too. Last January, Pop said to Joey, “I can see how special Gabby is to you and I know she is the one for you.” He knew even before Joey did…

Just like Pop loved to tell stories, he knew ours was just getting started. One October evening, Joey took Gabrielle to their favorite spot by the river, where they'd spilled their hearts to one another so many times. Joey got down on one knee and popped the question, asking Gabrielle to spend her life laughing, traveling, building a family, and to spend forever with him. She said a big, happy YES!

Family means so much to us and we are so excited to share this milestone of our love with you!
