Gabrielle and Wynton met in the literal presence of God...on August 11, 2019 at Wynton's home church in Mississippi.

It's clear that this was a divine encounter, as this was the Sunday following Wynton's return from Tanzania and the Sunday before Gabrielle headed back to Starkville to begin her Sophomore year at Mississippi State University.

A few days and one 3-hour Cups Espresso Cafe meeting (unofficial date) later, and these two knew this was the start of something new! They began communicating every day and quickly realized that they had stumbled upon their lifelong partner.

However, in 2020, Wynton left for medical school in California, and they struggled to combat the uncertainties that lie ahead for their relationship amidst COVID.

By God's design and timing, their paths reconnected in January 2023 at none other than Cups. They knew their love for one another still remained and had never left them.

Wynton popped the question during a romantic dinner in Sevilla, Spain in December 2023, and the two couldn't be more excited and blessed to begin their union as one!
