The great love story of Adam and Gabrielle started in the same place that all great love stories begin: Bossier City, Louisiana. Adam had just competed in the 2016 state wrestling tournament with Gabrielle’s older brother, Joseph, and was celebrating with friends and family. Adam saw Gabrielle at the party and decided that he had to say something. After bragging to Gabrielle about the excessive amounts of chocolate milk he had just consumed, Adam walked away hoping to have left an impression.

Only a few weeks later, their paths crossed again at the Dupre household. Joseph had invited the team over for another get-together, and Gabrielle was stuck at home having to babysit one of her nieces. This time, instead of discussing dairy consumption, they jokingly made fun of each other all night till Gabrielle said they should have a boxing match to settle things. Gabrielle’s call to arms was most certainly in jest, but nevertheless, Adam was in Gabrielle’s front yard the following week with boxing gloves in hand. This bold and ridiculous stunt was exactly what Gabrielle was looking for and thus began the long winding journey of GADAM™.

Like all great tales of romance, there were downs, and there were ups. Each challenge the two faced, ultimately strengthened their faith and their trust in one another. The ups were so high that Daedalus himself would envy the wax used to fashion their proverbial wings. Whether it be kayaking in Bayou St John, tailgating LSU games, driving through a blizzard from New Orleans to Steubenville, Ohio, exploring the Windy City or Kokomo Indiana, GADAM had seemingly done it all. The next step was obvious.

On July 3rd, 2024, Adam would propose to Gabrielle while skipping rocks on Bayou St. John. The couple is elated to be joined as one in matrimony on June 14th 2025 and start an even greater adventure.
