Gabby and Drew’s love story began in 2019, when they met through a mutual friend while Gabby was about to graduate from The Ohio State University. A shared love of theatre, Disney, Star Wars, and musicals like West Side Story and Encanto quickly bonded them as friends.

Over the years, their connection deepened through local theatre productions, including sharing the stage in Pride and Prejudice as Jane Bennet and Mr. Bingley, The Sound of Music, Sweeney Todd, and The Great Gatsby. In 2023, a highlight was traveling to New York City, where they saw Sweeney Todd starring Josh Groban and Annaleigh Ashford—and even got to meet them—a thrilling experience since Gabby was also assistant directing Sweeney Todd at Chillicothe Civic Theatre that year.

After years of friendship and countless shared memories, Drew proposed in the summer of 2024 by the wishing well at Cinderella’s Castle in Walt Disney World. Gabby said yes, and together they’re planning a classic wedding with a modern twist, complete with rooftop views of the Columbus skyline and touches of timeless elegance.

They can’t wait to celebrate with family and friends on June 13, 2026, and afterward, they’ll honeymoon for two weeks in Jamaica at a Sandals resort, ready for new adventures as husband and wife.
