From Gabrielle's Perspective

The first time I saw him, he walked into Anatomy and Physiology Lab and sat down at the same table right across from me. I remember glancing over at him and thinking to myself "Oh, he's cute!". Over the next couple months, he didn't engage much with my friends and I, except to laugh at our antics, but I began looking forward to lab class to see him. Little did I know, he looked forward to seeing me too!

After our first exam, we walked around the room sharing answers, and my friend knew there was something there. The next day, she texted him (from my phone) about "studying" the following week and he agreed almost instantly. From that first study session almost 6 years ago, we never stopped talking and we never stopped being each other's biggest supporter and friend.

From Jeremiah's perspective

I walked into my Anatomy and Physiology Lab and as I looked around, I noticed her from the start and thought “Wow she’s pretty!”. The lab class required us to do cat dissections and Gabrielle and I were the only ones who wanted to participate in our group. During this time, we had so many laughs that I perceived as flirting. There was definitely something there and I felt it.

We ended up getting each other’s numbers by being in the same study group chat. I was in class one day and got a text from Gabrielle. I checked it thinking it was the group chat, but realized it was JUST her. I was excited, and a little nervous. I had something to look forward to the following week. After that first “study” date, we’ve been inseparable and I quickly realized I didn't want to do life with anyone else.

When we were younger, we lived right down the street from one another and played sports in the same recreation center. While he pursued football, she played soccer.

Jeremiah never had sushi or knew how to use chopsticks before meeting Gabrielle. Now, it’s one of his favorite foods and he prefers chopsticks to regular cutlery!

We did long distance for the last 4 years of our relationship, and we are thrilled to step into this next chapter.

On vacation, we prefer adventure over relaxation. In March 2022, we visited Costa Rica and went white water rafting, ATV riding, zip-lining, and took volcano hikes.

We are SO excited to spend the rest of our lives together. With all of our hearts, we thank you all for spending this beautiful day with us. We will remember it for the rest of our lives.
