We met in early 2022, just when we both least expected it. What started as a casual conversation quickly turned into something special. From the start, there was an ease between us—a natural connection that made it feel like we’d known each other forever.One of our favorite memories from those early days was during an “alphabet date” series we started together. For the letter&nbsp;B, we spent the day at the beach near where one of my best friends lived. We soaked up the sun, laughed until our cheeks hurt, and enjoyed every moment.Then, out of nowhere, Truett came walking up from the ocean holding an old, weathered bottle. I was a little grossed out at first—but inside was a handwritten message asking me to be his girlfriend. Of course, I said yes.

Our Beginning

Since that day, we’ve built a life full of laughter, love, and support. From being surprised on the Jumbotron at a baseball game, to slow mornings filled with coffee and playlists, to face masks and self-care nights—we’ve created a rhythm that’s all our own.We’ve celebrated wins, navigated challenges, and found so much joy in the everyday. Whether we’re traveling, cheering each other on, or just doing nothing side by side, we’ve come to treasure the quiet, steady kind of love that grows deeper with time.

Our Middle

On January 14, 2024, what I thought was just a girls’ day out turned into the most unforgettable surprise.My best friends, Cassie and Elizabeth, planned a day in Dahlonega, GA. We had lunch at Shenanigans and then made our way to Montaluce Winery for a tasting and a little 2024 planning. It was the perfect afternoon—good food, beautiful views, and even better company.After the tasting, we wandered down to the fountain to take some photos. As we got closer, I noticed what looked like a proposal happening and told Cassie we should turn back so we didn’t ruin someone else’s special moment.What I didn’t know was—it was mine.Standing there with a bouquet of flowers was Truett. I was completely stunned. He smiled, got down on one knee, and asked me to be his forever. I screamed&nbsp;yes&nbsp;(right in his face), while Elizabeth captured the moment with photos I’ll cherish forever.It was the easiest “yes” I’ve ever said—and the beginning of forever.
