Gabby and Hunter ironically lived right next to each other during college at MSU-Mankato, but they never actually spoke. It wasn’t until about a year after graduating that mutual friends finally introduced them. At the time, Hunter was living in Connecticut for contract work.

About four months after they officially met, Gabby happened to be on a family vacation in Boston. Hunter reached out and asked if she’d like to go on a date while she was in the area. Although she said she wouldn’t ditch her family for a date, they started talking more and stayed in touch.

Not long after, Hunter visited Minnesota on Gabby’s golden birthday, and soon after that, Gabby made a few trips out East to visit him. They explored New York together and made unforgettable memories. Just one month later, Hunter moved back to Minnesota—and the rest is history!
