Gabby and Will's journey began as many classic love stories do - amidst the countless emails, phone calls and Zoom meetings of corporate America.

When Gabby first started working at CareerBuilder in the spring of 2019 an obligatory scan of the office for cute coworkers didn't offer many options...except for that one possibly Hispanic looking(?) guy on the healthcare team. For Will, Gabby was hard to miss as well - the cute new hire with bright red hair who curiously seemed nervous whenever he would stroll by. Over the course of several extended happy hours and many sultry conversations about logging notes in Salesforce, the two became close, sneaking in a kiss or shared Uber home here and there when their coworkers weren't looking (ultimately pointless as this would turn out to be the worst kept secret at CareerBuilder).

When 2020 brought a pandemic around, Gabby and Will would quarantine together over bowls of extra garlicky ramen on a folding table in Gabby's new and unfurnished apartment. While the world was shut down, their makeshift dates were often interrupted by Gabby's dog-ter, Kaija, who still gets jealous whenever mom is getting more attention from dad than she is. Will and Kaija's relationship started pretty frosty but anyone who has met Kaija won't be surprised to hear it wasn't too long until things thawed and Will accepted his role as Kaija's pawther.

Flash forward to 2023 and Gabby and Will took the next step and moved in together in River West. Gabby became an honorary supporter of Will's favorite soccer team, Arsenal, (Come On You Gunners) and learned to tolerate a moody Will when he returned from a loss in his Wednesday night rec league games. Will learned to make espresso martinis for Gabby (but kinda mostly for himself) and despite his best efforts slowly but surely became a part of the Bravo universe. In the summer, Will would drag Gabby around the city or to the lake on a bike or scooter and in colder months Gabby would force an antsy Will to go to her favorite place - the couch with the TV on for an obscene amount of time with Kaija wedged firmly between the two of them.

The pair's passports have filled up quite a bit recently with a wedding in Scotland, Carnivale in Rio de Janeiro, a beach getaway in Spain and most recently a trip down to Santiago, Chile for Gabby to meet Will's family who all love her and can't wait to welcome the next member of the Veliz clan. The two plan to take see many more exotic destinations before settling down, so long as Gabby has a glass or two of wine to help her through the longer flights.

When Will asked Gabby to marry him in October of 2024 on a beautiful and sunny day, it was the easiest yes of Gabby's life. Since their days in the corporate trenches the two have grown incapable of imagining life without each other and can't wait to see what the future holds for both of them - who knew how important a couple of Corona's at the bar around the corner could be? They both can't wait for the "I Do's" and to celebrate the happiest day of their lives with all their friends and loved ones.
