We met back in February of 2021, with our first date at Skiptown South End, a Dog bar.

I picked out Skiptown so Mia could get involved. Because if she didn't like Mia, well... that just wouldn't do.

At first, Gigi wasn't the most attracted to Mia. She's a funny looking, high energy boston terrier. But she came around

Gabrielle slowly would come to fall in love with our little Mia Pia, and the spark was there enough between us to lead to a dinner date right after Skiptown.

Dates came and went, and it only took a few... We were both ready for something serious and long term. Looking for our forever partner.

We both share similar core values such as our faith in Jesus Christ, our strong connection with our family, and a deep sense of loyalty towards our people.

The years came and went, and after 3 years, I was confident we were a strong enough couple to make it through whatever challenge came.

Gabrielle was somebody I had prayed for all along the years.

It's an amazing feeling to have so much trust, and excitement about a future with somebody. Somebody to start a family with, somebody to grow in your faith with, somebody to pave a future with.

I bought a diamond, started planning, and tried multiple times.. A failed hike, a trip to Greenville to see the downtown waterfalls, even a planned proposal at Niagara falls.

All fell through. God had a plan, I just wasn't aware.

We were both on the same page of what we wanted in the future, and started looking at wedding venues. Cause, yanno, venues around here book so far out.

We took a visit to The Shiloh, a wedding venue in Low Gap NC. Gabrielle's mom, Josette, was in on the plan.

I had a plan to propose. Of course unknowingly to Gabrielle, she made the plan difficult..

With the help of Josette, we got it done. A special proposal at the place I knew we would tie the knot. The rest is history.

Gabrielle has become an integral part of my life. My partner, my best friend, and Mia's adopted mother.

She shares the same birthday as my mother, and our sisters were married on the same day, same year, same time.

Almost like it was meant to be.

We're so excited to spend some time with all of you on our special day, and look forward to the memories we will all share that day.
